  1. Congratulations! Don't be surprised if the pain level fluctuates a bit. The fluid, gas and everything starts to set in a girl just walk as much as you can. Good luck to you
  2. Hey there! I am a June 8th sleeved as well. Its going good. I have found that getting water down has been the hardest, still not teaching water or protein goals yet. Pain is much better. Almost gone now. I have to really watch making sure to put my food into small portions otherwise the temtation to eat too much is there. Something I will always have to be mindful of.not feeling hungry but my stomach does growl too. It's funny. I can tell I have lost but have not weighed myself yet. Some think it's crazy but I want to be surprised at my 2 week check up to get my staples removed next week.
  3. Are you carefully monitoring portions? It seems like its that last nite or two that get me. Or maybe it's a certain food?
  4. It took 6 days for me. I finally took a stool softener
  5. Heavyb me too. The shakes aren't really cutting it for me. I was sleeved the 8th so almost 2 weeks
  6. I got some protein soups from Amazon. They had a variety
  7. It hurts for me too especially when I breathe. I was told it was normal
  8. I was sleeved Monday and was told I could start protein drinks when out of the hospital. I was released Wednesday and started Thursday
  9. I was just wondering this too. Haven't gone yet and was sleeved on the 8th.
  10. That is so weird...me too!! It just started yesterday and I was sleeved same day. I am on protein drinks along with broth and jello but same crazy dreams. Every dream is about food. I was wondering about stomach acid because I started getting a bit of a sore throat today and was wondering if it could be that. I don't feel hunger pains but want to eat so bad.
  11. I have been doing sugar free jello pudding. I got cheesecake, banana cream and cocolate. Mix with fat free milk. It actually says do not mix with soy milk because it won't set up. I actually was going to try it and got lucky reading it on the package first. Lol
  12. I am on day 5vpost up and really for me day 1 and 2 were not bad. Day 3 kicked my butt with gas and pain. Day 4 was a little better but now on day 5 I feel pretty good.
  13. I used both. Water with the fuzzy navel protein and milk with the coffee flavors. I tried to minimize milk as much as possible because I wasn't losing as much. Try mixing 1 cup of milk and rest water. That helped me
  14. It's so funny how we are all different in our recoveries. I am on day 5 and I feel like I finally turned the corner on pain. I was able to get out and walk too today. Hang in there everyone!
  15. I felt the same way. Day 2 and e were hell for me. On day 4 and so much better. Hang in there. I still have the pain in my chest but it's getting better.
  16. I seriously hate my auto correct on my phone. Sorry
  17. I also had had get a and took meds everyday, I learned I had a hiatal hernia that was repaired at the time of surgery and I have not had a single issue since. U have not been nausous once either get but I am still pretty new post op so who knows what might happen
  18. Hey everyone! Was sleeved Monday and it's been interesting. I am in more pain than I thought I would be in. The first day was not bad but when they switched me from iv meds to oral meds it got much worse. I am home now and doing better. I hadn't passed any gas until last night Finally started coming out and now pain is netter
  19. Oops noon. I hate my auto correct
  20. I thought I would update you all. I had surgery yesterday around boo,. Everything went well. I had a hiatal hernia that was also repaired at the same time. At first all was going great. I got up and walked and was visiting with family until about 10pm. When they left I went to bed and had a rough night here in the hospital. I was in a lot of pain.vthete was a spot on my back that was killing me. I was upvptretty much every hour. Today I was hoping to home but my blood levels dropped and I can't get enough fluid down yet. It's harder than it looks for sure. Hopefully I can go home tomorrow.
  21. Maggie409 on clear you can't have milk. Also no protein shakes just broth, water hello...no orange or red. Sprite and Apple juice Oops jello
  22. I have done HCG more than once and lost but did not keep it off. I have surgery Monday. I don't know if I would mess with that unless you have been sleeved for awhile. Good question though
  23. I can relate. I was supposed to have surgery initially in February and my levels came back super low. I had 5 iron Infusions and 3 iron pills per day. I was just checked again and I am still a little low but not enough to prevent my surgery on Monday. It's tough but you will feel so much better when they are back to normal
  24. I just got some to add to Crystal light. I have had a hard time finding proteins I like mixed with water. I think I did not lose as much weight when I was mixing with milk. I have surgery Monday so still pre op.
  25. Did anyone have 2 days of full clear liquids before surgery? I am just wondering. Most have said just 1 day.
