  3. I had it mostly in my stomach and back and it was so awful. I had to walk a lot to take care of it.
  4. I also kept taking my prescription the next day for high blood pressure. I didnt have any issues with swallowing pills. As JamieLogical said, make sure to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
  5. Glad to hear! Just take your time with things. Go with your gut....well I guess you have to its kind of running the show right now lol
  6. Wow this thread is pretty crazy. I totally get the point of those giving some tough love to the OP. It is true that if you are having a tough time with the pre-op diet it will be even tougher post-op. Peole arent being mean, just realistic. However I dont agree with those putting others down to make the OP feel better. There are other ways to go about it.
  7. I followed eggface last night. She has all her boards seperated nicely by different meals.
  8. I keep waking up at 3am no matter what time I go to sleep. Them Im up for about a hour or 2 before I fall asleep.
  9. Happy Valentine's Day! Im only 2 weeks out. Me and my boyfriend always go out to our favorite Italian restaurant for way to big a dinner. He was saying he wanted Lasagna really bad. I told him order it in for dinner. He did and I had my little bit of homemade soup. It was pretty great and I didnt feel any kind of temptation at all. Ive even made dinner a couple times for him earlier this week amd while it smelled great I had no desire to eat any of it.
  10. Walking and Gas x strips helped me. Until I got it all out the same was happening to me. Sip and 10 minutes of burping. It does go away though.
  11. I picked up Recipes For Life After Weight-Loss Surgery. Im going to try a soup recipe for the first time tonight.
  12. Sorry to hear about everything but Im sure things will get better. This whole experience is a pretty crazy roller coaster. its going to be hard not associating special ocasions with food. the payoff will be so worth it though. Im glad theres a place like this for everyone to support each other. Hope you have a Happy Birthday!
  13. It can be confusing. I just did half cups for my meals when I was on full liquids.
  14. Sorry pretty useless topic but Im so happy I had tunda today! Its my first day of pureed and the first different meal was a success. Im going to make a homemade soup for dinner tonight and see how thay goes.
  15. I haven't had any of the taste or smell issues. I hope they don't come down the line lol Then again, I am still on full liquids so its not like Ive tried a lot of stuff yet. Glad to hear the gas pains are better, I hated them!
  16. Im not a veteran. But I am recently sleeved. Just know a couple days after surgery it gets better. Everyone seems to have a different experience but just hop on here to ask any questions. This place really helped me get through the first week.
  17. I got that as seen on tv Veggetti and it works exaclty how they said it would. I think it was only $14.99
  18. Glad to hear it went well. The gas pains are the worst!

  20. As others have said it does get better. I was right there this time last week. I was thinking what did I do to myself. Horrible horrible gas pains and acid. Definitely have to walk a lot and it will help. You will get through it though and it will be worth it.
  21. I just could not believe how much I enjoyed it. Everything in it just made sense to me. His whole philosophy with what and how to eat seems so realistic and helped put me in a much better mind frame. I was recently sleeved 01/30/15 and am still on full liquids until Friday. This is making me look forward to the future and the healthy choices that I will be able to make. I have a much better perspective on this whole process.
  22. There are some walking DVDs where you can get your walks in right in your living room if the weather is bad right now for outside walking. I think the name od the womam that makes them is Leslie Sansone.
