  3. @@JerseyCityGal I bought that book you recommended yesterday and read the whole thing in one day. Excellent excellent read and advice I will definately be following.
  4. You definately got this. I felt the same way last week the couple days after surgery. I was thinking what did I do to myself but it will pass. This place really helped me get through it.
  5. I didnt realize about the gas and acid situation after surgery. I was kind of freaking out but everyone on here had good advice. I take Gas X strips and Prilosec and walk walk walk.
  6. I would of never been able to do anything but clear the first weak. My stomach was all kinds of crazy like how yours just was.
  7. I just pooped 9 days out from surgery. Its pretty normal. Nothing happened until I moved to full liquids. I did have the phlem but some people on here had similar situations.
  8. Im glad I came into this thread that book looks very interesting. Im only on full liquids so I do feel hungry but not aa bad as the first week. Good luck to you @tpierce.

  10. i think the main reason is the acid reflux. i had it awful this past first week and I sure didnt need help adding to it.
  11. Im taking full now. My pain meds arent liquid and I have a blood pressure pill I have to take.

  13. Not quite yet but thats the goal. I was just sleeved on 1/30/15. The doctor moved my to full liquids yesterday and told me every friday to go to the next step.
  14. That wave of nausea with the pain meds was awful.
  15. Mine is a week for each step until back to regular food. So 1 week clear, full, puree, soft then regular.
  16. Im 1 week post op and on full liquids as of today. I hit 66 protein but need to get some unflavored too. Good job!
  17. Im consistant now and I got moved to full liquids. Thats awesome that you are doing so great with your liquids.
  18. Do I have to strain the soup or is it acceptable to put it in my blender and blend unitil it is completely smooth?
  19. I had a headache my 3rd day and they told me to skip a dose of the pain meds and nausea pills because both could cause headaches and to take extra strength Tylenol. They also said it could be a hunger headache. Luckily it worked for me.
  20. It is definately normal. The past couple of days have been emotionally up and down for me after the surgery just because of how my body was feeling. I had to get in my head that I just had surgery and its a process not a overnight thing. Theres always going to be some back and forth I think as we all go through the journey.
  21. 6 days post-op and I finally got in all my water and a little extra. Yesterday was the highest with only 23oz because of all the gas since surgery. Thank god!
