  6. I was able to eat 2 eggs and 2 strips of turkey bacon today. I spoke to my nutritionist yesterday, she said I need to eat about 1500 cals and 70 grams of protein a day from real food, not protein shakes.
  7. Really? It doesn't make your coffee thick ?

  11. I am not good at eating breakfast. I have coffee and that's about it in the morning. I wait at least another 2 hours after that before I eat something. I think that is my problem, not eating meals.
  12. Woosh! Thanks! I thought something wasn't right, haha!
  13. The chicken sausage is about maybe 3 inches long, not very big. They are those Applegate chicken sausages. As far as grams at once, I could eat about 128 grams at once.
  14. Hello all, I was just curious to know how much everyone can eat after 3 months post op. I had surgery about 3 months ago and I feel like I can definitely eat "more" than before, I dunno if that's normal or not. For example, I could eat only 1 egg, now I can eat 1 egg and 2 chicken sausage links.
  15. I'll keep that in mind. I am drinking a lot of water. But I really don't think I'm eating enough protein. That's my problem maybe. As far as tracking, I'm using my fitness pal.
  16. I don't think so. Because I can tell you I am at a stall right now. Meaning I haven't been loosing weight for a while. But that's normal, your body is freeking out because you aren't eating a lot of calories anymore, so the metabolism is slow.
  17. Not grazing like small meals at least 6 times during the day. And I had a gastric emptying scan before my surgery to determine how fast my digestive system was.

  19. *update* so I spoke to my doctor about what I was experiencing. He told me it was normal. First of all I have a fast digestive system, even before my surgery, and when he did the surgery it's even faster. He said I was like in the 20% of people that have this freakishly fast digestive system. And as far as not loosing weight, it's normal as well. He told me to constantly eat small things throughout the day.

  21. Yeah to be honest I have a habit of eating and drinking at the same time. And I don't think I have been getting my daily protein.
  22. I think so, I'm drinking at least one 36 oz bottle a day or sometimes more.
  23. Eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, cold cuts, chicken, fruit.
  24. Hello all. I just had gastric sleeve surgery about 7 weeks ago. I am noticing I'm hungry a lot. More than usual. When I eat something I don't feel like it's in my stomach and I feel like my stomach is always empty even though I do eat small meals. Has anyone experienced this. Also, I stopped loosing weight.
