  1. Hi Nikki, Sorry that you have been having port pain. I was dreading that but thank goodness it hasn't happened. I'm just getting a little wind pain in the chest area but it doesn't last too long. I get a bit lazy now and then sitting in front of TV and using the laptop so I then make myself get up and do laps around the house.Very Boring though. I went for a walk around the park yesterday and today which was good. Saleel22
  2. Good luck every one being banded tomorrow. Saleel22
  3. Hi Redtulips3, Ditzy means scatterbrained, not thinking clearly, a bit dotty. This is what I am still. I just accidently erased my reply to you and had to start again. I keep writing the letters the wrong way around. Saleel22
  4. Hi Iwood, If you have something like Optifast you will find it has a lot of vitamins in it and is filling when sipped slowly. This is what my dietician recommended also V8 vegetable juice with no pulp. I find it awful but if you heat it slowly it is like a tomato soup (almost).Don't forget a liquid vitamin as well. If you sip these things every half hour it will stop you being hungry and getting dehydrated. Hope this helps. Saleel22
  5. Thanks every one for the good wishes. Hi Tweenwaters congrats. I haven't had any pain (yet) My biggest thing was the migraine that I had for a couple of days. It was really hard making myself sip liquids and walk around the house when my head felt like it was going to explode. Maybe that's where all my gas went-straight to my head.lol I feel better today. No pain just a slight uncomfortable feeling sometimes in my chest. I then walk around the house again counting the tiles and it seems to go. Good luck every one. Hope all your pain is gone soon. Saleel22
  6. Hi dlollie, I can't imagine going to work or to the Mall. Just want to hide away in the house at the moment. Hope every thing goes well for you. Saleel22

  9. Hi Phyl, I wish I could come. I was in Seattle in July last year and absolutely loved it. We went to the Bite of Seattle which was great. Just loved the place. I was banded on the 16th January so don't think I will be taking any big trips soon. Maybe next year. My husband is always looking for an excuse to go back to the US. We have been 4 times now.Good luck with the planning. Saleel22 on the Gold Coast Qld Australia

  11. Hi every one, I was banded on Wednesday and came home from hospital yesterday. I felt awful, dizzy, nauseous and had a really bad headache. I worked out that it was the capadex pain killers that I took before I left the hospital so stopped taking them. After a really bad headache all night the fog has lifted and I now feel ok. I'm sip, sip, sipping on my fluids but I know I won't get through all of the ones the dietician wants me to have. I'm walking around the house but am very bored counting how many tiles I have. Thanks for all the good wishes. I will post more in the next couple of days. Saleel22
  12. Thank you, saleel22
