Hi Everybody,

I'm Anngie ,I live in Alberta and I am 35 yrs old. I've been lurking around forums for a few months now and finally decide to jump in and say hello. The info here is great and so is the support you give each other. Been fighting with my weight since my early 20's. I was diagnosed with PCOS with insulin resistance last spring. My Dr said at this point WLS was probably my last option. Really happy to learn about the Lap Band, gastric bypas was to scary for me. Not banded yet still reserching DR. any good references for doc's in Mexico?? I look forward to chating with you all and learning from you experiences.

Hi Anng, You will find lots of helpful people on here. I am in Australia but have been to your neck of the woods on 4 occasions. I love Canada. I'm being banded tomorrow so I will be able to tell you all about it when I am back on here in a couple of days. Good luck with what ever decision you make. Read all the good and bad on here before you make up your mind.

Hi Anng, I was done on Wednesday and came home yesterday Thursday.

I was done in Qld Australia. Have a little pain now and then from the gas but mainly have a headache.
