  1. Congratulations!!! You have done so well. We were sleeved close to the same time. I met my goal at 8 months 17 days. Best wishes on your continued success!
  2. Yikes! Glad you took it seriously and were checked out. Hope you get feeling better soon!
  3. I have had Atkins frozen on occasion. It depends on the content of the meal itself. Just be sure and read the label.
  4. Brace yourself because this is just the first of many The stalls come and go. Just do what @@Elode said and stay off of the scale! If you stay on track and follow your plan, the scale WILL move. Best of luck to you!
  5. You are very welcome! Good luck with your journey!
  6. My doctor said Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D. I am sure each doctor and each nutritionist varies! I would double check with yours.
  7. Lol, you will get into a routine. It just takes time. Congrats on getting all your water in though!
  8. Wonderful news! Keep up the great work!
  9. You may just be surprised! The best environment you can be in post-op is surrounded by people that eat right and work out, think no doughnuts at the nurses station You never know, any one of them may have had the same weight loss struggles at one time! You are trying to take control of your life and get healthy. I would never judge someone for that.
  10. Oh they will and you'll laugh when you remember this post!
  11. I couldn't tolerate Protein shakes, too thick. I love the Syntrax nectar Iced Tea! It's much thinner, like a regular drink.
  12. Congrats on the scale moving! Stalls are the worst but they do go away. BTW, two pounds is everything! Be proud of those two pounds
  13. So very happy for you! The NSV's are the best in my book
  14. Congrats on your loss so far! The stalls come and go, just ride them out. My stomach still makes some weird noises and I'm 8 months out! Best of luck on your journey
  15. I don't know but I just get it so they will stop asking me if I'm sure I don't want a drink!
  16. LOL, I have finally given up that battle! I just order water so they will LEAVE ME ALONE!
  17. I'm with @@The Candidate! I failed at every attempt previous to this so this is my last chance. This is such a remarkable tool and it really helps get a lot of the "out of control" feelings in hand. Support and therapy for any food related issues is a major tool also. If I never got my food related issues under control, I am sure I would gain the weight right back. One reason I fell off the bandwagon so many times in the past was that I never got any emotional help. I say to attack weight loss one last time from all angles!
  18. First off, congrats @@Elode on your member spotlight in the newsletter! Your story is great. My biggest peeve is when someone asks me how much more weight are you going to lose? You never asked me how much more I was going to gain when I was heavier. Quit telling me how much I should or shouldn't lose! You aren't my surgeon, nutritionist, or doctor.....so stop asking me! Okay, rant over!
  19. @@padremama My GI suggested InSync because it is a good one but he said it is a little pricey.
  20. My GI doctor told me to take them. Then again, he has always said to use them! I wasn't told anything about it helping in weight loss though. I spend enough on my other Vitamins so I haven't added them as of yet. I would love to hear more about it though.
  21. Glad I missed it! Sounds like she is a real winner.
  22. Glad you are both doing well. Welcome to the loser's side
  23. WLS is a big life change and it is scary! I think we all went through those moments of doubt and being nervous. Have faith in yourself that you will succeed!
  24. Go to the mall or try to get out early in the morning or late at night. Beat the heat of the day!
