Confused caltrate or citrate

Surgeon told me to purchase caltrate 600 but I was told by pharmacist that is calcium carbonate not calcium citrate......my NUT had told me calcium citrate is the best one for after surgery!!!...

    My doctor said Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D. I am sure each doctor and each nutritionist varies! I would double check with yours.
