  6. @@haleytrim What a great birthday present to yourself! I am 43 and have the same health issues. I have always had high blood pressure. At my last doctor visit, she told me I had developed Type II and hyperlipidemia. That was my last straw and I knew I needed a permanent change. I am having mine on 11/16. We can all do this!!!
  7. Thanks for sharing. Always looking for a good addition to plain water!

  12. @@cinamini1 There are a bunch of us using Dr Ortiz in November if you want to see and hear how things went. Good luck to you!! We are in the November 2014 group under "November Sleevers in Mexico"
  13. I have been picking up this and that for the past week to make sure I had everything I needed. For those that have already been, what were your must haves??? I don't want to pack a bunch of stuff I won't need since I can't carry much after surgery and I'm flying alone. This is what I have so far: Gas-X strips Gauze and tape Neosporine All meds in bottles Imodium Loose fitting clothes Robe and slippers books to read Money for tips/purchases CC for hotel check-in Couple of maxi-pads for flight home (in case of loose stools) Am I forgetting anything???? I know I can pick up something there if needed but I like to prepare!
  14. Most of the posts say: $1-2 for bag handlers/waitstaff-roomservice $5-10 for housekeeping staff $10-15 for drivers Not sure what everyone else is doing but this was about the norm for most.
  15. @ I am so proud of you and glad you are doing well. Your weight loss prior to surgery has been amazing. Congrats and keep us up to date!
