  1. Only time will tell unfortunately. It's a small price to pay though and it will grow back! Hopefully your smaller waist line Will not! Don't stress!
  2. @@WL WARRIOR Yep I tried it again after all and it was good. You may need to drink it more often. 2.5 weeks is too long!
  3. That's a good tip! I make my egg whites with turkey sausage and cheese in muffin tins! It's much easier and already in appropriate servings! Plus convenient when on the go! @@OKCPirate
  4. It just means you have more fat deposits in your liver ....that's the short of it. It's normal to have fat in your liver but to much of it prevents your liver from doing its job properly over time.
  5. @RubygirlThe most common cause is alcoholism. Almost all heavy drinkers have fatty liver disease. Other causes are toxins, certain drugs, and inherited metabolic disorders. In many cases it has been associated with high blood cholesterol, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. : )
  6. Premier protein shakes 3 (90grams) a day after the first two weeks, now I'm 6 weeks out and I eat food plus two shakes a day so I always get 90+ grams a day. You may not get it all in in the beginning just keep working on it, it will get easier.
  7. Congrats and good luck on that baby!
  8. Congrats on being approved! Everybody has some fears one way or another..it's perfectly normal.
  9. Yes that should be just fine. Hang in there!
  10. If it's too small it won't feel good! Well hopefully you will heal fast and it will stop hurting soon.
  11. It's a wonderful feeling! Congrats!
  12. @@skypark86 If it's that bad they YES go get checked out!
  13. Congratulations! Just take it easy, one step at a time!
  14. @@TJBab Your weight loss thus far is amazing! Your surgeon can "want" all he or she wants but your body is going to do as it darn well pleases! If your doing what your suppose to, and you obviously are, then Your body will do what it's suppose to do. You've lost almost 30 lbs in a month? I can't believe your Dr would be upset about that?! Tell him to chill! (In the nicest way possible) don't be upset your doing GREAT!!!
  15. @@cutiebbwncali I think all of us had to make it to that point before having surgery, and then wonder why we waited so dang long! The struggle is Real! Weekend is great! Hope your is too!
  16. Of course! Right up until they knocked me out! Best thing I ever did!
  17. @@Domawa Great I hope it works but if you were a teacher your probably pretty smart and a fast reader so you may have to read 3 pages instead!
  18. @@Domawa Yep eating fast will defiantly make you hurt/feel bad! So just try taking small bits and setting your utensils down. Do you like to read? I know this may seem weird but sometimes I will get out a book and read a entire page between small bites. It Helps to keep you from eating to fast and it keeps your mind off the food at the time, maybe even read two pages and then take another bite. The good thing is this won't last for ever you just need your sleeve to loosen up a bit but if your eating fast to the point of it hurting ect..then you could be aggravating your belly and causing it to swell, making it impossible to eat. If you feel like trying that let me know how it works for you! I wish you the best! Keep your head up skinny!!!
  19. @@Msnicnic You're welcome!
  20. @@Domawa Have you talked to your surgeon about all this? Surly he/she doesn't think those numbers are ok? Especially Your fluids? If you have spoke about this what did they say? Are you chewing your food completely and waiting a few minutes between bites? I ask because the few times I felt that way I KNOW was because I ate to fast. I can see why you would feel bad. Are you taking vitamins and drinking protein shakes to make up for lack of food? If so I hope your drinking a high protein drink, you defiantly need a high protein to get more than 40 grams in.
  21. @@GenaW828 That's hard because that's really all you can eat! I know your sick of soups but did you try the Swanson flavors? They have some fancy Broths like, Thai ginger, hot n sour, Mexican tortilla, ect...or you could get some egg drop soup or wonton and strain it...sorry I know that's not much but it's just not easy at that stage. The only other thing was popsicles. At least your almost to the end!
