  2. 7 weeks out...I have been getting 55 ounces fluid a day. I have been lightheadedness when standing...a lil..not bad. This am I became very lightheaded and SL. Nausea and anxiety...thought I was going to faint. It was scary and didn't resolve quickly. I had eaten oatmeal with sugar... I felt very bad until I ate oil bit of banana. Which do you think? Or hypoglycemia? Or vagal? Idk

  6. as some said, this isnt a race as it will continue for the rest of your life. When losing slows down, i will keep a level head and know that it will eventually kick back in. It is not a sprint.... its a process. I am simply feeling happy that the sleeve is doing what they said it would do. you always wonder.... will i be that person who it didnt work for? Have a great day everyone. it is almost fifty degrees here in maine!!

I havent used the bipap that much since surg. last night i wore it all night. this am Mr. sleeve isnt liking food. I am wondering if i swallow air at night from bipap and if so could it stretch my sleeve out? like others, i am paranoid that Mr. sleeve will stretch out.... any thoughts?

  20. hello... i was sleeved on monday 2/23. i have pain with every sip.... i am either drinking too fast... too much... temp not right... or stomach spasms.... idk...I got 35 ounces of Fluid in yest. that was better. i have a huge hematoma on my abdomen that happened when i was in the recovery room. It started to grow yesterday so my surgeon had to stop the lovenox injections. usually take them for seven days.. walking around in the house quite a bit. still have lot of gas... i dream of the day when i can drink more than a sip without pain in my gut! it will get better every day.. right? on full liquids.
  21. I am sleeved tomorrow as well. It is nice to see how others did... I am praying for a uncomplicated surgery! Scared nervous and mostly excited to start this part of my journey! Wish us luck! M

  34. After six months of eval and nutrition classes ect... my insurance said yes to surgery! I am thrilled! and scared! The surgeon is so busy that it will be the end of February. I have to lose ten pounds before then. Were any of you scared of complications? I am scared of pain, nausea, clots, leaks.. It is going to be the best thing i have ever done for my health. I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, High Blood Pressure, sleep Apnea, GERD, renewal of my depression all in the last year, on top of gaining sixty pounds while taking prednisone. Let the weight loss begin!! M
