  1. I did. I woke up in recovery vomiting!! I was severely nauseated for two days and phenegran was the only thing that helped me. They gave it to me in my IV, and I was in the hospital for two days. thankfully the nausea only lasted those two days and I have felt great since then. I was sleeved three weeks ago and I'm am doing wonderful! 30 lbs down!

  3. I was sleeved on 12/18/14...since my preop all liquid diet (1 week), I am down 23 lbs. My start weight was 313. I am having panicky anxious moments where I just become overwhelmed with the feeling that I am not doing as good as I should. My doctor did not give me really detailed instructions on how I should eat or which Vitamins I should take. They gave me some paperwork with a diet and recommended vitamins listed but no one really ever went over this information with me. I feel like I am just 'winging' it trying to figure out how to eat and which vitamins to take. I have been doing some research and trying to get some good info online. I went for my post op appt a couple of days ago, and my dr told me I can start introducing solids back into my diet. When I asked him about my diet and vitamins, he just had the nurse give me the same paperwork that I already had. Currently I am taking: B12 Calcium citrate Biotin Iron Multi-Vitamin I am trying to eat around 800 calories per day and take in 60 grams of Protein. I do not want to fail at this!!

  6. My surgery is in two days (the 18th), and I am so hungry I can't even stand myself!!! I keep thinking I could just have a small bite of something!! I'm craving a biscuit really bad, and normally I am not even a bread eater! I just want to eat something and all day I have been questioning this whole thing!!

  8. I bought a few cans of progresso soup last night (chicken noodle), and I strained the broth and heated it. Let me tell you...it was the best thing I have tasted in days!! I can do this!!

  10. My surgery date is dec 18, and I am 4 days into my clear liquid diet!! I am so hungry. I have dreamed about food the past two nights. My diet says I can have: Protein drink mixed with Water or skin milk. SF Jello, SF Popsicles, broth or consommé, pulp free fruit juice and diet or sf sports drinks. And of course water. I'm wondering if I can get a can of light progresso Soup and strain the liquid and eat that for broth? Any advice??
  11. I'm scheduled for December 18th. The liquid diet is tough, but I'm determined to succeed!!
