I really want to cheat!

My surgery is in two days (the 18th), and I am so hungry I can't even stand myself!!! I keep thinking I could just have a small bite of something!! I'm craving a biscuit really bad, and normally I am not even a bread eater! I just want to eat something and all day I have been questioning this whole thing!!

The same thing happened to me sweety -- I craved a burger sooooo bad. So i thought... "life's too short" and with this surgery I'm going to make a committment to make this a lifetime change sooooo, I ate a 1/2 burger lol! Nothing ever tasted soooooo good in my life. It was 2 days before surgery and thinking back, I'm glad I did it, it didn't cause any damage and I treated myself and then was focused from then on.... 7 months later, I am 71 lbs smaller and feeling AMAZING and happy! Good luck!

LOOK !! YOU ONLY HAVE 2 DAYS LEFT !! YOU HAVE COME THIS FAR...DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! STAY STRONG AND DO SOMETHING ANYTHING TO DISTRACT YOU, GO FOR A WALK ,PLAY A GAME, PRAY, WATCH T.V. ANYTHING. BUT DO NOT GIVE IN TO YOUR SELF, IN LESS THEN 2 48 HOURS YOU WILL TAKE A BIG STEP TO A BETTER YOU AND THE WAITING WILL BE DONE...GOOD LUCK ! AND TALK TO ALL OF US ,WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!

Well, you sure picked the wrong time to think you can eat a biscuit. You could've tried that 10 days ago with little damage, but it ain't smart to try it two days before the doctor starts to cut on you.

You can do this. You just have to DO this.

How long was your pre op diet? Surprised that you are still having carb craving, or are you just focusing on food?

Have sex. Workout. Online shop. Call up an ex and tell him how much of an @ss he really was. Make a vision board of where you want to be. Pay bills. Go volunteer at a homeless shelter. Have sex (yes, twice). Turn off the TV. Drink 2 glasses of Water. You get the point.....

A biscuit won't kill you and it will squash the craving, but then you are left with worry about your surgery day and it's just not worth it.

Have sex. So wish I had thought of that when i wad detoxifying from caffeine and sugar. So, to me the problem with having the biscuit. ..... what if you don't stop at just one? What if it leads to more biscuits or "other stuff"? Just be careful. Try and keep your eye on your prize. Best.

Yep, sex. It's a great distraction, stress reliever, calorie burner, and when pre-op nerves are at their prime, it's a nice way to connect with your partner and refocus on the bigger picture; getting healthy, dropping massive weight, losing all of those prescription meds, and having better sex. =)

I'm sitting here eating sugar free Jello jIgglers and hating the preop diet. 2 days to surgery. WE GOT THIS.
