  1. They do have 30 days legally to make a decision, If your already approved and it says that then I don't see why you can't make a surgery date? I have BCBS FED and they called me before they even told my DR (mainly Because I harassed the hell out of them unfortunately as aggravating as it is they have the power for the most part so just Wait......BUT hey who cares Your approved!!!! Don't be aggravated be happy!!!! You waited this long!
  2. If it's already approved by insurance I doubt they would cancel it. They would lose a lot of money. Good luck!
  3. Is it itchy where you had the blood pressure cuff on? Is it your actual arm or shoulder pain? Air can get trapped In Your shoulder after surgery...even days Later....
  4. It could just be your stomach swelling Especially in the healing stage it can get aggravated and swell at times.
  5. Yes, it's more than likely because your body is in ketosis. When ever you limit your carbs to an extreme like most of us do on pre-op diets and after surgery our body's start burning stored fat as its fuel source And that fat break down is what's making your breath yucky!! (That's the short of it) it's called ketosis breath and its a good thing (and annoying!) Brushing your teeth ect..can help mask it but the smell is coming from your insides so there's really nothing you can do about it until it either goes away by its self or you up your carb intake. Drink lots of water (well what you can). Embrace the stinky-ness lol!!
  6. Yep! What Blerdgirl said...not everyone has to go through one.
  7. @fluffy4nowByes YES you will more than likely have trouble getting in fluids at FIRST...its a struggle but as time goes by it gets easier. I am almost 6 weeks Out now and I can drink pretty normal for the most part..water being the hardest to get through. Everybody is different so only time will tell how you will do but it's very normal to have issues in the beginning.
  8. Congrats! Your hard work is paying off.
  9. ^^ plus their easy to transport in your lunch just wrap them in foil,
  10. @@sweatpants One of my favorite deserts are low carb mini cheesecakes made in cupcake wrappers! I don't use any "crust" I never liked the crust. They have recipes on line when You bake them like that you have little individual servings AND you can use sugar free jello to change the flavors of the cheesecake by adding a little to the mix! Love! And good with coffee!
  11. That's Incredible! I'm glad your ok! Scary!
  12. You should experiment with some new recipes, depending on what your doing there are a lot Of really good low carb deserts and recipes.
  13. Yay! It's about time! : )-

  15. Yep 30 mins maybe of talking and the rest some long asinine questionnaire, for me anyhow they vary. Just hide your crazy!
  16. Ok this isn't posting so I shall try it for a 3rd time!.........ok sorry I tried to submit a pic but this thing is acting crazy and it's about to make me have a nervous breakdown so I give up! finally! I did it!!! This has become more of a "I will beat this computer" pic than anything BUT try to avoid the staples if you can. I wish I had known he was going to do that I would have pleaded out of it but oh well it is what it is! Oh and it's only 5 weeks out.
