Dehydration and getting over the mental block
@@MrsMurky721 Awe thanks I try! It's almost like I live on here but I assure you I don't : ) Do you think if you did half water (maybe Less) half juice you would like it? The only other thing I did at that stage besides coconut water (which is an awesome hydrator) Is I bought some Popsicle molds from target (online) and made up some syntrax nectar protein in fuzzy navel (stronger than normal) and made protein popsicles. That's about it, I didn't like anything else.

Is there a NUT/vitamin checklist/app? How to keep track of it all?
You should have a plan from your surgeon as far as what to eat ect...right? It's hard to tell you what to have when we don't know your individual plan and nobody wants to tell you something that will go against your surgeons advice. As far as a tracker I use "lose it" "my fitness pal" is popular with a lot of people. As far as keeping track of your vitamins a pill container (W-f) one is really helpful, that's what I use because I couldn't remember what I took ect. If you know your stages it may It will be easier for people to help you with suggestions. @@Elizabeth21

Having a hard time....
The stages are a lot of trial and error. I know when I Was going through the stages one day I would LOVE something say yogurt, and the next day the thought of it made me want to puke and I couldn't eat it. If your stomach isn't handling certain foods it's ok to back track a little and stay with something you can handle then try again later and you may end up with a different result. I am over 6 weeks out and some days I can eat good and others I just Want my shakes and little food. Eventually it will all even out just makes sure your getting in your fluids, protein, and vitamins! Take your time with the foods. Are you taking b vitamins to help with energy?

Dehydration and getting over the mental block
Plain water was/is the hardest thing for me to get down. When I was in your stage I drank coconut water and isopure to get my hydration and protein in. It's all a work in progress but you defiantly need to stay on the fluids. Maybe you just need some flavor added? The weight loss is more than likely a lot of dehydration. Just keep sipping it will get better you just have to be conscious and stay focused when you are awake.

Protein shakes:(
I love premier protein in chocolate. Syntrax nectar makes fruit flavored protein powder if you want something "non-milky"

Sipping Post-opt
No that's good, I'm sure it's just a guide until you can drink "normal" if you can drink more without issue or pain then I say go for it! Being hydrated it important and the better you can hydrate yourself the better off you will be! Keep up the good work!@@simplyblessed

Pureed Foods
Oh and refried beans with cheese , hummus , and sour cream. My stage was purée / mushy combined.

Pureed Foods
I liked the riccota cheese bake, just riccota cheese mixed with one egg and what ever seasonings you like (I used Italian blend) and a thin layer of marinara sauce on top then baked at 350 for about 25-30 mins! Delicious! Taste like lasagna minus the nodles! @@Jen D

Gas x. And antacids ,,,
I use a prescription too. I've had it ordered since the day I left the hospital. It works!

pain on left shoulder
I had that same thing happen. My surgeon said its normal for it to show up days later. I never had any gass pains. He says it air that gets trapped.mi ended up punching myself in the shoulder (I Know weird but I was sick of it!) well whatever I did it made it go away. I guess I knocked the air out. It will eventually go away on its own so you don't have to punch yourself lol!

Just got approved-Bad anxiety and questions
Oh and to answer your other questions who knows about the Butt and boobs? You will more than likely lose some but how much only time will tell. As far as using lidocaine to numb you before an IV stick will totally depend on your hospital. It never hurts to ask, good luck!

Just got approved-Bad anxiety and questions
@@veelovee Hi! How in the world did you already get an approval from the insurance company before finishing your pre-op requirements!? I've never heard of such a thing. Maybe I misunderstood? Are you saying your insurance approves Bariatric surgery if you meet the requirements and pass all the pre-op or did you get a stamped approval letter from the insurance company already?
