I have to stay overnight. They make all bandsters stay 1 night in the hospital.

Hi question for you ladies that have been banded. Did anyone go into surgery when it was "that time of the month"? If so how did they handle that?

Thanks for all the great feedback. I went to Target tonight and they sell single protein bars so I bought a luna bar, a south beach bar and a kashi bar. I like that idea that way if I don't like it I am not stuck with a whole box of them.

I'm kinda sad but really happy at the same time. I just recieved a call from my surgeons office today. They are bumping up my surgery from 2/11/08 to 1/28/08 ahh that is in 4 weeks. So now I am officially a January bandster.

Hey there I have a question, my surgeon requires a 10 liquid pre-op diet. I am going to take that one step further and do a 14 day diet and the 4 days prior to all the liquids I want to mix in some protein/meal replacement bars. I was wondering which ones you would recommend? Looking for high protein, lower carb and sugar that doesn't taste like chalk. Thanks much

I will be banded on 2/11/08! PKN's process was a lot smoother than I had originally thought. They give a lot of good information and really take the time to make sure you are prepared. You will have to update me with your progress in the program. Good Luck!

Hi there I thought I would start a thread for us February bandsters. List you exercise goals for the month of January and update us daily or weekly. I will start..... My goal for January is to work out at the Y 2x a week.

We usually book through Disney. You can get some pretty good deals through them. There is a site out there for Disney Freaks and the people on there really know what they are talking about. They post when whenever Disney's having a deal too!
