  1. Yeah its tougher to because when I do cook it's just for me. All I been eating is bagel in the am then Beans and chicken (almost like a burrito minus the rice) for lunch and dinner. Then I try to sneak in a shake and a Protein bar and fruit in between all that.
  2. So I'm not one to count calories and Water and all that other stuff. I need to meal plan and I need some ideas I don't like the idea of 7 day old food with meal prepping but it's gonna have to do. I need some ideas besides egg muffins and salads. I usually snack on nuts Protein bars and fruit. I need Breakfast ideas lunch and dinner ideas. Anything helps. I have 16 or so lbs. Before I hit under 200 (first goal.) Thanks in advance.
  3. I do zumba and weight training class I'm trying to mainly focus on not having loose skin.
  4. I take biotin now (10 weeks post op) and I don't see it doing anything for me. Also I read on here that someone's NUT says it doesn't to anything for sleeve patients. I don't know if that's true. But my doctor and NUT said it all depends on your protein intake! So I do 2 30g shakes and 1 30g protein bar and pray that's enough. I have think hair and don't want it to leave anytime ever!
  5. In the blink of an eye you'll be sleeved! Lots of luck!
  6. I just want to tell everyone you can do it! I've been very down on myself but I need to look at the positive. I've been feeling like my old 259lbs self and not realizing that it'll be fine. I told myself last week I'd try to go to the gym 6 times this week. I did not want to do my body pump (weight trianing) class today because I went Sunday and monday and I'm still sore and I did zumba tuesday. Then I said why not check out the zumba class before my body pump class? Then I said no I don't want to do both. Guess what I did both. Never in a million years would I have thought I'd be a gym person. But after I was done complaining about not wanting to go and both classes were done I felt great! So yes you can do it! You may not be loosing as fast as you want but it'll come and it takes hard work and dedication YOU CAN DO IT!
  7. Can I start by saying I'm going to zumba soon so I'm gonna sweat instead of crying so here goes. I just have to hide my scale I keep upsetting myself! I'm not gaining but I'm not loosing like I thought I should be. I've lost 48lbs in almost 10 weeks I know it's enough but also I stand a lot at work and when I stand I still feel like I'm carrying that extra 48lbs still. I'm 211lbs my first goal is to be under 200 hopefully by the end of january. My depression is I still feel 259lbs but all my body aches and is sore from all my amazing workouts I do. You know what I mean, right? UGGGHHHH!
  8. I'm 3 months post op. And my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 1/2 years. He's been scared of loosing me and ya know the typical fears. But so far we've been happy like we've always been. I have my moments where it doesn't feel like I've lost weight and he's been my biggest supporter! He's even told me he sees a huge difference in me now. If I don't want to go to the gym he tells me to get my ass up and go! And sex wow I can go on top now and not feel tired after 5 seconds. Sex is more fun. If he's the right one for you he'll stick around through the good and the bad times. Wish you guys the best!
  9. Congratulations! Your an inspiration and I want to be you already! How motivational!
  10. I love hate these shows. I love to see everyone's success but when they do wrong it Pisses me off and then it just reminds me I need to do better.
  11. Also I only eat whole wheat or multi grain bread. I had white once and I didn't feel so well after. My NUT says when you do eat bread to only to toasted
  12. I love bread pre and post op!. I had it at 8 weeks toasted only. No aide effets. I'm really into have wheat bagels(super toasty) with low fat cream cheese smoked salmon and an over easy egg I eat between 1/2 to 3/4 of it and feel full for hours! I was having bad breath for 8 weeks and it was suggested lack of bread, and since I've been eating it I've been good! Hope that helps
  13. I ate it fine yesterday but reheated it today and it all went downhill. I had lower tummy aches after but thought it was because I just worked out but oh no there was a knocking and I went. Then I had toast with PB and went again the relaxed and went 2 more times after without eating a thing. Worst pain!
  14. I went to a Vietnamese place yesterday and got soup with pork nodes and your basic pho ingredients and today I ate the leftovers and not sure if the food was bad or my sleeve didn't like left overs. Also anything to comfort my now painful dumping area (if you know what I mean)
  15. My period came the day of surgery October 30. I was out of surgery and when I was put in my room I went to the bathroom and ban I had it. Ever since then my periods been like clockwork which is weird because I never had a regular or monthly period. Someone once told me your body is working different now so a lot will change. Hope that helps.
  16. Thanks everyone! I've been doing almonds Pepporoni Cheese I looove the premier protein bars. Not too big of a fan of the quest bars.
  17. I'm a Gemini so mood swings wouldn't be new to me haha! But I just don't want to crave food! I got my first shot ever this Monday. I'm not sure if it was because of the shot or my period but I was craving chocolate and cookies and I just wanted to eat eat eat. Now not so much. I liked the idea of the shot tho somwthing I'd do 3 months and I wouldn't have to remember to take a pill and also everything else is too long term I'm only 23 but ya never know by 24 my b.f and I might want a baby.
  18. So I heard you get more fertal post op and I don't need babies right now. I'm doing the shot every 3 months I was told a lot of woman gain weight because they eat a lot but my doctor told me I'd be fine do to A it's hard for me to gain right now and B I'm limited to the amount of food i intake. Anyone else on the shot or birth control in general anything I should look out for? Cravings? Mood swings? Thanks!
  19. I'm one of those people that caries their weight well and although it's there I feel like with 15 more pounds it'd be gone. I'm just being impatient
  20. 9 weeks out I'm at 44 pounds lost. I'm stalling between 215 and 220 for the past 3 weeks. My main problem is my at belly. Everything else has shrunk. I'm not necessarily rushing but just need tips to focuse on that area
  21. I'm doing 2 days of weight lifting and 2 days of zumba. I still house my little tire hanging out. Any suggestions?
  22. I always want to snack. So I do sliced ham cheese and I just want some new items. Any suggestions I really want something that I can grab like a bar or something I don't need to cook haha.
  23. I made an appointment with my surgeon and NUT to ask. But with my primary doctor I'm fine except vitamin D. Pre op I was deficient with Vitamin D so It wasn't suprising to me
  24. So I take now (since today) a multi, b 12, and Biotin Vitamin. When I went to the doctors I did blood work and she said I just been more Vitamin D. So I'm gonna add that soon. But I feel like every picture I see under the gastric sleeve hash tag on instagram everyone seems to be taking so many. Am I doing something wrong?
  25. On track! I've been slacking a bit and have been eating awful missing meals lacking in Water. I skipped the gym for the first time this week! I know I'm going to get back on track now that the holidays are over. Any suggestions with jumping back into it?
