  1. So I was sleeved 10/30 that same day after I woke up and went to the bathroom I got my period. Now my period always comes at the end on the month. And also I'm known to having iregular periods but not this month. So I haven't gotten it yet and tomorrow's a new month! did any of your periods return to normal or was your system changed because of surgery?
  2. Maybe that's why. I drink water fast and have zero pain or anything so I took Isopure like water. I drank it in a span of 10 minutes (half and then 30 minutes passed and drank the rest.)
  3. Not sure I just see them all over instagram and wanted to try it. I'll probably try again and see how it goes.
  4. So I had tried my first Isopure beverage (grape) and I only had an egg with ham and cheese(3 hours before). So I'm pretty sure it was the isopure but 20 minutes being done the drink I felt nauseous and then I felt my back door knocking and I ran to the bathroom... Thoughts? I'm a month out and this is the second time my sleeve didn't seem to like something. The first time I ate a mango and ran to the bathroom. Anyone else have an issue with this drink?
  5. Omg I was about to post this question I'm a month out and been cold since week 2. I don't know which is worse when I was always hot or now when I'm always freezing cold!!!
  6. Honey! I'm at 30+ pounds lost and I feel amazing I don't feel so bloated and I don't feel like I only see my stomach. Yeah I have my moments but I'm happy people saying wow you look amazing and also the only thing I miss about being bigger is just stuffing my face and eating what I want.
  7. I was big my whole life but nothing where I was obese but after jumping 3 different colleges and being in a comfortable 5 year relationship I just let myself go I basically lied to myself and said eff it hell love me no matter what size and he does but I was suffering through depression for 6 months and I finally had it and said I need to save my life and love myself.
  8. Hi! I'm Ariadna and I was sleeved October 30. This has been the hardest journey EVER. you don't realize how much food surrounds your mind until you get sleeved. I'm a baker and it makes it that much harder because sometimes I do have to taste batchs of certain things and spitting it out is so hard. I miss not being able to make a quick sandwich on the go I constintly have to meal prep and sometimes I just want to not bother. My biggest issue right now is everyone says I look so amazing but I just don't see it I still feel 259lbs (im 224lbs now) I'm not going to lie this journey has its really bad moments and you'll cry and get upset but when you see the scale going down and you being able to walk without getting tired and your knees not hurting so much you'll see its all worth it! I'm not trying to scare you away but it's worth all the tears!
  9. Put you first! I know this is easier said for me because I don't have kids. But really you need a second for yourself. Even if you can walk up and down some stairs when your kids go to sleep or nap. Do you have help? Use it abuse it if you can. YOU CAN DO IT! I'm a strong beliver in if you belive it it'll happen. Only posativity!
  10. I'm not a pro so I'm going by my sleeve but that happened to me when I started eating eggs and it was just that I ate too much super fast

I haven't been constipated I went today. It's just an awful feeling like a roller coaster because I was on cloud 9 with my new found flatness of belly haha. And now I'm dirt. Ugh is this the emotional part of the journey. I'm only 4 weeks out!

After surgery I felt amazing I haven't felt like my stomach sticks out or anything but I don't know why but the last couple days I feel like I'm still 259lbs (im at 228 now) I was also starting to notice how my belly was lying flat but now ugh I'm just feeling upset and feel like I'm still big. Also as I'm writing this I realize my period is due sometime before the end of the month. Could it be that? I don't know I'm just feeling down right now. Also the scaled hasn't moved up so I know i haven't gain weight I'm just really bloated??
  13. I took my iPad pj's and slippers and ended using nothing but my phone charger and tooth brush. I didn't want to do anything but watch TV walk around and sleep. Rule of thumb don't over pack.
  14. I guess I need help in the mindset part because it's in my mind it's just not set ya know?
  15. Thanks! Yeah you understand then because I have a stand up job too and I work at a bakery so some days I don't even get a break ever. I just want to go home and sit!
  16. I know i love zumba but actually getting up and going to class is a task within its self
  17. Yeah 10/30 was my surgery I remember just wanting to go lift weights and I still do I want to start so bad but the idea of getting up getting changed and doing it isn't really clicking and making me get up! I was thinking of water aerobics but it's freezing where I live and although my gym has an inside pool ever since surgery I get really cold really fast so I don't think I can handle it. I also have been telling myself to go straight after work but that hasn't happened yet.
  18. My relationship is exactly the same. I kind of feel like a drug addict because post op well lay in bed watching netflix and I'm thinking about the snack I can have.. instead I chug as much watch as I can to fill my void. It's tuff and to have a partner that is willing to help makes it that much better =)
  19. I need a buddy to tell me to go to the gym lol. Me changing my body isn't enough anymore I need a huge inspiration jump that'll get me to tell my self get your ass to the gym.
  20. Wow well I guess every doctor is different I was on puree on day 5
  21. So I guess it does depend on you doctor. Ugh Noone knows which doctor is right or which is wrong lol
  22. I do mashed potato now so that's not a problem but besides thanksgiving I just want to move on lol. 14 I can only eat so much mashed potatoes and beans!I was 10/30/14
  23. Okay so basically I feel like I am 100% ready for soft food stage. Now on thanksgiving I will be 4 weeks post op so I feel like . Maybe I'm just saying that so I can eat some turkey lol. But obviously no breads or Pasta or stuff. Are all the stages different for everyone? My soft food stage is on week 5.
  24. I'm not sure I'll try it tomorrow and if I remember I'll let you all know.
