  1. Hi Anne and welcome to LBT! There is loads of information and support available here. If you have any questions you can't seem to find an answer to, ask away! There is always someone here willing to help out. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!
  2. Hi and welcome to LBT! Good luck to you!
  3. Congratulations! Your story is a great one. Good luck with your continued weight loss and keep us posted on your progress!
  4. You can do it!! Try not to think of it as what you are doing without. Think of it in terms of what you are working for. Good luck!!
  5. Shortgal, you are too funny!!
  6. Nope! They even called me to make sure I knew that our policy has a total exclusion for anything to do with the surgery. The hospital just totally disregarded that insurance and only filed to my secondary because of that. They said it was possible that they would pay for my testing then come back on me when the submittal for the surgery was made and they realized the testing was associated with WLS. I assume they know what they are talking about...:confused2:
  7. I'm staying on plan today because I want to be a SUCCESS!!!! Even before I get the band.
  8. Gee...That's kinda scary!
  9. Hi Hazel! Good luck with the liquid diet and surgery. Keep us posted on your progress!
  10. That's so great! I'm glad you are doing well. I was looking at your ticker and noticed we are starting at about the same weight (1 pound difference lol) and I am assuming you are probably about my same height since our starting BMI is the same too. I am interested in seeing how you progress in your weightloss so I might have an idea of what to expect. I won't be banded until June, as long as insurance goes ok. So I'm going to be watching you... Gee...I sound like a stalker!
  11. Good luck to all of you! And when you feel your strength failing, just remember support is only a click away!
  12. Hi Tilley! Congratulations on your band. The weight loss looks like it's going great! Keep it up and welcome to LBT!
  13. Wow Calondra! You are really doing awesome! Congratulations and good luck!
  14. Congratulations Chelsey! How are you doing?
  15. Purge?? EWWWW!!!!! I thought getting the band was the easy way to lose weight and all I had to do was sit back and get skinny. You mean I actually have to do WORK??? I didn't sign on for that!! Maybe if I just get another fill I won't be able to keep anything down. Then I should be able to reach size 4 in 6 months, don't you think?
  16. I would think fast would be better. Good luck!
  17. It looks like they would have known to start your pre-op diet when you first started the pre-op stuff. Sorry you are having to deal with all of the frustrations. It will be worth it in the end though! Good luck!!
  18. Thanks for the advice Marisa. I am REALLY hoping I don't have to do this!
  19. Be careful and don't overdo it. Baby steps are good sometimes.
  20. Um...how many times a day do I have to puke to go from a size 26 to a size 4 in 6 months?
  21. Glad everything went well for you! How are you feeling?
  22. I saw his thread, but just ran across this to even know what everyone was talking about e-bay on the other. I really do feel for the guy. If it weren't for DH's insurance, I know I couldn't afford surgery.
  23. Hope that cold disappears quickly!! Good luck Monday!
