happy me!

i'm calondra and i was banded yesterday! i live in madison heights, virginia, but drove three hours north to reston to have my surgery done by dr. robert pinnar (so worth it!).

i barely feel like i had surgery! i did low carb/high Protein liquids for one week before and i've not had any problems sipping on liquids since surgery. i was in the hospital overnight and my friend drove the three hour trip back home right after i was discharged. i had planned to stay overnight in northern va, but i felt so good, i came on home!

ya'll have been a big help and encouragement to me as i've been preparing for this surgery. i'm so glad i took this step...! and i look forward to getting to know many of you better over the next several months.
