  1. I am always worried about eating too much, it seems as though I can eat more that I should be. I will be glad when I get my band adjusted where it should be and I stay on a steady weight loss. Is there a list somewhere of "slippery" foods to avoid?
  2. I was a huge soda drinker and was suprised when I quit with no problems. I did try punch at a shower not knowing it had soda in it and was in pain for hours and don't want to make this mistake again. Now it is football season and it is hard to watch the game with out a beer in hand but I am adjusting...
  3. Thank you Coachcher for the helpful hints!!! I was banded in Jan and had my 3rd fill this past Friday and have had a lot of trouble with solids getting stuck (the first couple of days even applesauce got stuck) I have always eaten really fast and taken too large of bites so this has been a major adjustment for me. :cursing:
  4. I love pasta too and like the others if I take small bites and eat slow I don't PB but it does happen because I'm impatient and haven't caused enough self pain yet I guess. I do try to eat whole wheat pastas to add to the protein. Chicken gets me more than anything else (PB)
  5. i am where you are right n0w i have lost 55 lbs and because of my size no one will think i'm seriouwe i
  6. hang in there I know things seem tough right now but everything has a way of working itself out. I hope this will happen very soon for you.
  7. i have had a cough recently and all i have been worried about is slippage because of the force my abs have been under. Is this possible?
  8. Great job!!! Best of luck to you.
  9. Thank you guys for the quick replies. I am trying to figure out how to get that ticker thing under my messages. I have to do some exploring around some more.
  10. Hello, I was banded 1/8/08 and have been dying to speak with others who had also been banded. My support group is mostly gastric patients and I can't really relate with them. I was surfing yesterday and found this site and I am so excited. Everyone in the chat room is so nice and supportive hours have gone by and I didn't even realize it. Thank you for being here!!!!:biggrin2:
