ok nevermind - I never went back and read the entire thread - as you can see I was the first one to post condolences and never checked back - apparetntly the entire thing was bullshit and someone has a vendetta against MX dr's. NO worries - disregard - I just went and read through the entire posts - feel free to do so - its all bullshit - no one died - sorry for my mistake as again I never read through the rest of the posts as I was the first one to post. go take a look if you want to feel better - it was someone playing a horrible prank.

I don't mean to scare you at all - but someone posted on here a few weeks ago about their dear friend who just went to get the lapband - and died from a heart attack while undergoing anesteisa - again - just wanted to be honest with what I know - I will try to find the link - it was very sad.

How did ya'll figure out your weight loss to weeks? I am 20 weeks post op with an 8lb loss - I took 8 divided by 20 and came up with .4 .........so does that mean I"ve lost .4lbs a week since surgery........for some reason that seems higher than what I thought I was losing.....is that right?

But I think I'm going to beat you - I have a fill scheduled for Oct. 19th and I don't keep scales in the house so I dont' know what I've lost - but after my 1st fill I lost a whopping 1lb in 2 months soooooooooooo if that's holding steady my last fill was on Aug.31 - my next one is OCt. 19th - soooooo thats a total of 7 weeks - I will sure let you know how much whopping weight I've lost and maybe I'll be your MAMMA then until then - yes you are the mamma By the way - what's our true member total up to? Anyone counting?

In fact 2 weeks ago when I did eat one and had never heard of this - I immediately had to remove myself from the table at the restaurant and head to the bathroom - it wasn't painful - but I knew it was coming back up and it did. So hopefully I don't have anything stuck down there - I'm not having any symptoms - I just know as soon as it went down - it wasn't going down and I've NEVER had this problem with any other foods - I just assumed I had ate it too quickly - now I know that that was probably not the case and I will never eat one again - thank you for sharing this important information!

OMG - you are mylong lost twin..........I TOO LOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE CULVERS!!!!!! I spooged on a brownie sundae from there last week and it was oh so yummy - I go there about twice a month - something about that smoothiness of the frozen custard - tastes so much better than any regular ice cream.........glad to know I'm not the only one who is a Culvers nuts! I've never heard of them before we had one built in town about a year ago. Their food is really good too!

My boyfriend has a chest full of thick curly hair and I LOVE IT! Funny thing is that I NEVER liked hairy men - in fact I used to think it was gross until I met Jon - all that fur rubbin up against my naked chest - oddly enough is a big turn on - it makes me feel all primal and womanly. Me Tarzan - U Jane - Ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr hear me roar!

Now let me chime in - I shave the errrr...ummmm......I cannot think of any polite way to say it - I shave the lips and bikini lines leaving the top triangle - I do it for myself - it feels smooth and lovely as well as it feels differnt to be touched there also - more velvety - that's the only way I can describe it. I as well appreciate a TRIMMED man - not a SHAVED boy - my boyfriend calls it MAN-SCAPING - and I just see it as a mutual appreciation for oral sex - I appreciate not getting a mouthfull of ball hair and so does he - I also find it more comfortable hygiene wise to have bare lips especially at that time of the month. Now my boyfriend goes to the extent of shaving his shoulders and trims a little off the sides of his chest - I wouldn't mind his shoulder hair because that must be a bitch to keep up with - but he insists on it so whatever floats his boat. Now VINES - I completely agree with you about being bald - In fact my boyfriend did this recently and he asked if I liked it - I politely ignored the question and when he asked again I told him it was too short - by me saying it was too short I was really meaning it sickens me to look at you because you look like a pre-pubescent child. He has since grown it back and he better not EVER do it again. I HATE IT! And I feel the same - for all the men or women who enjoy being compltety bare - my opinion GROSS! I think the same thing - men who are attracted to only complteteley bare down there - sends off creepy bells all over! But that is only me and my entitled opinion - I have done it once myself and hated it - I didn't feel so womanly. I do beliveve in being nicely trimmed and kept but how much is according to each woman - can't be a hater for someone being O'Natural - wear the braids proudly if you got them ladies!

I want to weigh what is on my drivers license 198 - i even lied about it back in the day and everytime they ask is your weight still the same I just say yes eeven though it says 198 since I was 16 but even then I was never that small. I can't wait to have them change it to lower than that! And I too want to be the skinny one at the reunion while other skinny girls are fat now.

I'm going in for a tweak on the 19th. My last fill he filled me up to 2cc's and I was slightly choked off - i could get down softs and mushies but no solids and had to have an unfill of .5cc which seems to be too much. Im still able to eat quite a bit before I feel full - so I'm going in for a tweak - thinking I'll ask him for .3cc for a total of 1.8cc - hope it won't be too much for me but I gotta get the scales amovin!

yes its very common. i am one of them too. i lost 8lbs right out of surgery - gained back 4lbs before my first fill. lost only 1lb after first fill - lost 3lbs after 2nd fill and now I'm going back oct. 19 for my 3rd fill.

my doc won't fill until 4 weeks after your last one - minimum

I had a wonderful experience in Monterrey, MX with Dr. Sanchez and he does his surgeries out of Santa Engracia hospital. This is one reason why I chose him. I talked with patients of other popular MX Dr's and saw pics of the facitilites and was NOT impressed. Everyone I talked to said the facilities were clean looking but shabby and outdated. Santa Engracia hospital was cleaner than any American hospital I've ever been in and that's a lot because I'm an EMT so I've been inside over 100 hospitals easily. I'm also considering going back to an associate of Sanchez's who practices out of the same hospital for future plastic surgery. I had a wonderful experience and no comlaints or complications. My personal opionion - Tijuana scared the shit out of me just from everything I've heard - that was another reason I chose Monterrey, I was told it was a richer part of Mexico that was pretty Americanized - I was very comfortable there.

My BMI was 48 pre-band and 53% body fat - gross - it is sad to know that over half your body is pure fat.

I can see the chachee, but can't see the giblets - know what I mean? As far as shaving - I do mine by touch - shave a little, touch it to make sure its smooth, and keep on a truckin. I do look in the mirror and really I'd rather not - the only thing I think is how in the hell is my boyfriend able to "pitch a tent" when I can't even stand to look at it - grosssss. No problems with his little man standing at attention for 2 years now - so I guess it can't be THAT disgusting to him. The thing that bothers me the most about my current boyfriend is that I am his first BIG girlfriend - all his others were skanky skinny b*tches. Which is sooo weird for me because all of my ex's were with me because they enjoyed my bigness. Its something I haven't been able to get over even after 2 years of being together.

Did you get the concealer brush with it? If not - you NEED to get it. Its the absolute best brush for certain areas that need more coverage. Simply swirl tap and buff the concealer brush all over until it gets covered. Use more if it still shows - eventually you will get it covered. I also have certain red spots from broken blood vessels and old red acne scars - that's why I was so turned onto the mineral makeup. Let me know how its going. I have other suggestions for coverage that I"ve done if that one doesn't do the trick.

I want to add one more. I want to do one of those Nascar Race packages where they let you drive the car and race around the track, but to do that you have to be able to fit your ass through the window to get in. That's something I'd love to do when I hit goal.

this thread inspired me to make another fill apt. I was going to put it off, but its already been 6 weeks since my last one with only a pound or two loss and I need to get my weight loss kicked off since it ain't really happenin yet. My apt. is for Weds. Oct. 19. For financial reasons I was going to wait another month, but then realized I need to keep myself first when it comes to these matters.

hi wheetsin - that's great - there are a few doctors around the area - Dr. Malley, whom I love and adore, Dr. Hoehn whom I would have also loved but he doesn't accept mexico patients which I am. And Dr. Waniewsky - she was my 3rd choice. There are others close in the Topeka area also. But the 3 I listed are in the KC Metro Area and I don't know what the prices of surgery are but there are some names for you to start with.
