I can't wait til I can have before and after pics, I had surgery on Monday I'm already 10 lbs down but not much of a difference. Everyone looks amazing! Congrats!!

Just wanted to thank you for your kind words. I was where you are now too. I had a hard time deciding. But I then realized this is not an easy fix. I am going to have to work my tush off and change the way i look at food, the way I eat, and the way I think about food.
I am so happy I went with this. This is one of the greatest opportunity for all of us. It's a gift no doubt...and I do not plan on wasting it!! I fought hard to have this done.
I was denied twice last year for this surgery. Because I had a net gain during my 3 month nut visits. My 37 year old husband had a heart attack and needed a triple heart bypass last year. He is doing well now but it has been a terrible struggle, physically and mentally. 2014 was the worst year of my life. I ended up hiring lindstrom obesity advocacy and they fought my 2nd level appeal. And WON!
I began my process jan 7th 2014, my husband had his heart attack 2/6/14.
He had his open heart surgery on 2/14/14 (❤️ what are the odds)
I gained weight. Denied 7/7/14.
Denied again 8/16/14.
9/1/14 hired lindstrom obesity advocacy in CA.
10/11/14 APPROVED!!
Surgery date (because of work I had to wait) was set for Jan 5th 2015.
This is my year, I am taking back my life. I will not be put down, made to feel inferior, or like i am worthless.
This has been the strongest I've felt ever. And if there is anything I can do to help anyone, let me know, so many people got me to this point on here, I don't know how I would be mentally without the support I receive here.

You look amazing! Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishment.

A picture is surely worth a thousand words. You look terrific and your progress is soooooo encouraging. Keep up the good work.

I'm 1 month out and can see a change! Here's a picture comparing May and today. 43 pounds gone!

I don't have any good pictures at my fattest...and the shirt...I would wear anything that would fit. Anyway, here's my transformation thus far.

Wow!!! You look awesome !! I only hope I can be half as successful as you!! You look absolutely AMAZING! Way to go!!!

Hello all!
So I had my real first OMG moment.
I went dress shopping for a wedding I'm in, left picture is 2 weeks after surgery, jan 19th and right picture was today! April 12th.
Same dress but 5 sizes smaller.
84 pounds down from
December 27th 2015.
I was blown away by the side by sides. I can't stop looking and smiling at this picture!! This is, by far, the best thing I have ever done for myself. Today...I'm very proud! ????????

And this was yesterday!!

I'm down 109...hitting a lot of stalls, but still trying to push through!

I drink Water when I get up then either a slice of bacon or a belvita biscuit then I have a Protein Shake then for lunch I eat usually tuna with light mayo. then around 2 I have a snack usually peanuts or fruit of some sort. Around 6 before dinner I have more Protein usually a little of a shake for example. Then dinner I have grilled chicken or shrimp. I usually eat dinner at 730 and I finish off with a sugar free Popsicle around 9pm.. That is what I am at now month 1 and 2 were mostly just Protein Shakes and tuna.. Oh and I drink 4oz of apple juice a day.. Helps with my horrible acid reflux.. I also ride my bike 1 hour 3 times a week and have a boflex to work out on.. Everyone is different and this seems to be working for me. ????
