Ladies - breast size difference post-op?
I'm a 114 down but still a D cup I had a mammogram and it showed that I had change in the density and a change on my right. It turns out this is a common situation for women with rapid weight loss. Of coarse they will see a change the girls are deflated. So glad it is not cancer.

Your Favorite things- fitness/ exercise related
(1) My gym membership has been the best investment (2) Sweat proof ear buds. (3) Half marathon trainer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.c13_1forpink2 Listen to your favorite music while you train and follow the program’s convenient audio alerts. Along with voice/audio alerts and music controls on your headset, just press “start”, put your device in your pocket, and you are ready to go. Alerts will tell you when to warm-up, walk, run, cooldown, and when minute is left to give it your all.

@@erp Oh no. I am not tall. I'm 5'5" and 141 pounds (one pound to my surgery goal at 7 months out). I'm still loosing and plan to get to about 130. I exercise 6 to 7 days a week. an hour of cardio and an hour of weight training added every other day. I'm working with my trainer at my gym. I have completed a 10K and I'm working to increase my distance to a half marathon. Trying to figure out how to balance fitness and a bariatic stomach

14 months out and realllly struggling
@@kyleebean This is a reality for all of us. Weight gain can happen. Bad habits can come right back into our lives. When you see yourself slipping (holiday's are the worst) It's time to get back on the horse. You have been successful.... 105 pounds down freaking fantastic. Do what has worked for you. Beating yourself up is not doing you any good. Be gentle with yourself. Try some positive self talk. You are stronger than you are giving yourself credit for.

How many calories to support you're fitness level
How many calories to support you're fitness level. My dietitian/Surgeon wants me to up my calories to 1500. With my bariatric stomach this is a chore. I eat all day. I'm able to get in 1000 at 7 months out. How do you fit you're calories in?

Curious -- could you have done it without Weight Loss Surgery?
@@Vikingsfan8178 With a BMI of 42.(morbidly obese) I could diet but to exercise was hard. I was carrying an extra person. I.have been over weight most of my life. I have lost and could never maintain. This has drastically changed my health and extended my life. No regrets.

How to forgive someone?
@@My Bariatric Life I choose not to let other peoples negativity effect me. It is truly their own problem. Life is far to short. I keep the positive supportive people around me. I take the high road and move on with life. When others are out to tear people down why would you invest any energy either way with them? Forgiving is for yourself.

A little over one month out
Congrats on you're weight loss. It takes a bit to figure out what you're bariatric tummy can tolerate. Water will aid in the constipation department. ( have you tried crystal light?)Stool softeners are another suggestion. Next week talk to you're team about things that will help. Everyone will tell you it get's easier with time. It is so true.

For the people actively Losing weight that track food...
@@Elode Ok, I'm almost to goal. My surgeon wants me to get in 1500 calories to keep up with my fitness level. I feel like I eat all day. I'm able to get in 1000. I'm also a type one diabetic. I hit more low blood sugar's now. My nutritionist has me adding whole wheat and plant based carbs. I eat my carbs before I work out and after. I am trying to loose 15 more pounds. It's Fantastic to know that our dr's can adjust the plan to fit each of us as individuals.

Cheated and now I'm paying for it.
@@Countrygrrl Oh yes, I can relate. I have been using food as a coping skill for stress for years. Yesterday I was in a argument with my husband. I decided not to respond out of anger and took myself to the gym to process the situation. The anger turned out to work in my favor. I pushed myself harder, I jogged further and ended up with a joggers high. For me working out is a better coping skill then junk food has ever been for me. I get lost in my music. It does so much for my mental health. I hope you find a new way to deal with stress.

Goals
@@Terribj You will be at you're goal before you know it. I am almost to my surgery goal. Then 10 more to my personal goal. I started working with a trainer. I plan on keeping up with my exercise and building up to complete a 10k running. Then challenge myself to longer races. It is getting strange to get out of weight loss mode. My trainer has me cutting my cardio in half..my mind tells me I still need to do more. I'm going to continue to go to my local support group to keep on track. Congratulations on you're success Jenn

age appropriate?
Fantastic advise, thanks! I seem to be in my workout clothing during the day. It's cold out. Sweaters and jeans seem to be my standard. This will be my first summer at my new weight. I cant afford plastic's. It has me a bit self conscious. The websites are a great help. Still trying to find my own style. It has been fun shopping. I treated myself to a little black dress to wear on my new years date with my husband. So much to Celebrate this year.Any one else have new years plans?.. would love to see a thread to see how others bring in 2015 with pic's... Thanks again Jenn

Worst "compliment" you have gotten since surgery
