  1. It's funny that you say that. I didn't have my P since February 15 and then suddenly on Saturday I started spotting. Since then I have continued to spot. I've only lost 17 lbs so far. I'm 50 so I thought maybe it was menopause, could still be. Weight gain/loss does affect hormones.
  2. Why do you have to tell him "why" you are having surgery? That should be covered under privacy legislation. My boss only knows I'm having surgery. not why.
  3. Hi all, just 11 days to go! Saturday we will be in the single digits. How is everyone doing on their pre-op? I'm down 17 lbs and am in the middle of week 1 liquids!
  4. I've seen some posts in the veteran's forum where people have gained 30+ lbs.
  5. I'm sorry you are feeling poorly. I haven't been sleeved yet but I know a lot of people on here can provide you with their experience. I hope you have called your doctor.
  6. I agree with everyone's comments. I have told very few people I am having surgery in just over a week. One of my friends is being negative but I know she just is worried and thinks its drastic - she has never been overweight so she does not understand how we struggle. Do what's right for you! Everyone else does!
  7. I am pre op but my facilitator told me I would be very fatigued. She said if I even walk around the block it will tire me out. I think its probably normal. If you are worried you should call the doc and maybe get some blood tests. Always better to be safe than sorry.
  8. Kool Aid makes a sugar free water flavour of Watermelon. Its yummy.
  9. I'm not sure but would be interested in what the NUT has to say!
  10. Good to hear your pre op is going well. Mine is too!
  11. I'm still in my pre op but I've lost 17 lbs and my dress pants are loose! )
  12. I sent you an invite!
  13. I use myfitnesspal.com. It also links with my Fit Bit One so the tracking updates automatically with my exercise.
  14. I'm not doing anything fancy, just keeping it simple. I have 3 premiere Protein shakes a day Water with crystal light decaf tea/coffee Jello light sf popsicles That's it for me. Day 3 of my liquid and with the 2 weeks pre op high protein, low carb food diet I've dropped 17 lbs so far!
  15. Goo Gone! hahahahaha just kidding!
  16. Hi! I started my pre op on May 29. today I am down 15 lbs!!! Yesterday I started week #1 of liquids. I have 2 weeks of liquids (next week is more strict) and i hope to lose at least 20 lbs before surgery - 25 or 30 would be awesome! I can't even imagine! If I lose even 20 pre op then I only have about 60 lbs post op to lose! For my cruise! In December! Yahoo!
  17. You look Amazing! I love that dress on you! Sexy!!!
  18. Hi, there are a bunch of us. If you go to the forum for 2014 and then June you will see everyone! Welcome!
  19. We all have the same wishes and good luck to YOU! Happy Monday!
  20. Hi, I'm from Kingston (originally Ottawa) - I'd like to chat about it.
  21. **By not eating processed food/carbs my diet is not healthy and I can't sustain a weight loss** Oh ok, so when people used to farm and eat off the land that was a bad thing? So eating processed food/carbs is a good thing? This was coming from a personal trainer. **Just lose the weight on your own** Oh, ok, thanks for that advice, I couldn't figure that one out! I know so many people who just don't eat at all and then criticize heavy people. I'd rather be overweight than anorexic.
