  3. I had a rash on my face shortly after the procedure. As I got my nutrients balanced out it got better. I was told it was my body in shock from the major teams it had gone through.

  13. I was sleeved June 9th. So I'm in my 7th week. I've lost 40lbs. I had a 2 1/2 week stall that was so discouraging. It finally passed. I have had no trouble getting things down. Some days I struggle to want to eat ( just not hungry) other days I'm at top of my range. I was weighing myself a lot at first. Now I only weigh once a week. I didn't put this all on overnight. It's not gonna come off overnight. STAY THE COURSE!!!!! Have faith in yourself. Most importantly don't compare yourself to anyone else. This is your journey not theirs. Everyone will be different. I look forward to seeing all of our success stories and pictures! I'm documenting pics of pre op, 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, and 1year.

  15. My stall has passed!! I've moved roughly half a pound a day since. Praise The Lord that stall is over!
  16. Mine is on my face. I did a little research on some types of dermatitis. Apparently weight loss is a common trigger of several types of dermatitis. Mine is so frustrating and itchy I'm considering seeing a dermatologist. Putting make up on makes my face look scaly but no make up looks worse. I really hope it goes away.
  17. As anyone dealt with exema type skin issues since having the surgery?
  18. Susan I will admit my shape/size is different. My whole goal is to be healthier. I lost my dad 5 years ago which prompted me to make changes. Of course I failed at several things I've tried. I refuse to fail anymore. I have to succeed! I have two daughters that need me around. I've also noticed my cycle is way off since surgery. I'm hoping some of these things will get back to normal. Thank you for your encouragement????
  19. I am four weeks post op and the scale hasn't moved in two weeks. I don't know what to do I'm just so frustrated. I've been told stalls are normal but all this does is make me feel like a failure. I'm hardly having any carbs so I don't know what else to cut. It's not like I'm taking any a ton of calories (rarely over 800). I'm so confused.

  21. Thank you for all of y'all's input.
  22. Thanks. I've been reluctant but I think I have strep.
  23. As anyone had to take antibiotics since surgery? How did you stomach take it?
  24. Same thing happend to me. I lost a few pounds right after surgery, then gained 4 pounds over a five day period. It completly ticked me off. I could not (and still don't) understand how I could gain weight when I was eating only 700 calories a day. But that passed, the stall ended, and I started losing weight again, and losing very quickly. While it's easier said than done, just be patient, give it some time, the wight will come off Thank you for your encouragement!
