  1. I am watching the news...hoping Gustav doesn't hit Houston. Doesn't look like it, but I don't even want the rain that it could bring us. And, waiting to hear from my brother, who is in the Keys...we cross our fingers every hurricane that hits the Keys. Other than that...we about to have lunch, do yard work before rains get here, and I gotta do my running today. (I've sat on my butt this holiday weekend, and I actually MISS my walk/run program.)
  2. Can anyone hear me? After reading some of this crap - I am screaming.
  3. I love this! Though, I've been told I'm very insensitive. Lots of times. Wonder why...
  4. Last night was day 2 of a repeated week #1. I think I'm really nervous about moving on. How bad would it be to repeat week 1 - again??? :smile2: Yikes. I ended up doing the day's progam twice. Once on the treadmill and once outside. After I was done on the treadmill I went into DD's room and said, "Okay, your turn." She started to whine and cry that she didn't want to. I went into a long spiel about how I was just getting fat when I was her age and I chose the path of laziness...which is she going to be? Don't be like me...yada yada. And she just looked at me and said: But the treadmill is boring. Ooh. Is that all? I said - fine, let's do it outside. So, we did the program, not really by minutes, but by the idea of "run until tired, walk until bored". By the end it was a little race and she beat the crap out of me, passing me all the time!! But, it made it fun for her, and it was really fun for me, too. I was shy about running outside, but it was dark enough to hide my "jiggle". LOL I do feel much better when I run, the hardest part about the whole thing is putting on the tennis shoes when I get home.
  5. Oh, no! NO job is worth that. I had a boss once that wagged her finger in my face while we were on a business trip because I *gasp* responded to her email via blackberry while she was putting on makeup. How dare I interrupt her while she was putting on makeup? She went on and on...and I finally stood up, walked out. I stayed the rest of the trip, though, found a new job when we got back and put a sticky note on her monitor saying, "I quit." That was the best damn sticky note I ever wrote.
  6. Nope...I heard you had to write it down on a peg-board. Drinking a lot helps, too. What?! Good for you!!
  7. That would be the best wedding - EVER.
  8. Farting Rainbows! I had forgotten that! How could I??? And, where IS Wheetsin???
  9. Oh, bleh! Although, I felt that way when the drinkable soups came out, too. I've still never had one, but I do sip soup a lot more these days.
  10. (Wow. The things I miss when I go to bed early.) Mmm...gravy. I like the cream kind over biscuits. Suddenly my Slim Fast doesn't seem so appealing.
  11. :smile2: Didn't mean to! Unless you hate Bill Cosby.
  12. Nooo....more like Bill Cosby: "And sick ALWAYS followed tired."
  13. Just finished round #1, my second Week #1. :smile2: It was great. I'm tired and it hurts, but I feel so proud that I am moving.
  14. I know! Beats that long needle. I just think it's funny...and I guess I'm close-minded, cause I just don't see how it can be taken seriously. And, I love chubby-baby butts.
  15. It's from my new favorite link: Baby Bariatrics The quote says: BABY LIPOSUCTION You're never too young to look good. And, I don't know how to fix it so that it can be seen...I may have to forego that one.
  16. LOL...well, I had a good tall iced coffee in some big butt chairs. They were very comfy! Yes, please keep my updated for the next one! :smile2: I'll pm you my personal info...
  17. I think it was the "cold" part...and the "not that bad" part. :smile2: But, yeah, gravy rocks. Unfortunately.
  18. BBK - After all you've been through, I'd say a little bit of slacking is okay!
  19. I know for me that the number would be that I was heavier than most people can fathom. (I'm still not at goal, though, so I'm not sure if that thought will change by then.) Almost like saying it out loud would embarass them and me. (How wacky is THAT?!) Also, it's like people passing in the halls, asking, "How are you?" then they keep walking. Do they REALLY want to know? Or are they just being polite. I have terrible social skills and usually assume people are being polite and I avoid details. I was at 300# and now I'm around 225...do people really need to know I was twice their size? I don't want to see the WHOA moment in their eyes. I still have that fat chick inside and she's really embarassed about getting that big, so anyone's comments, no matter how innocent, encouraging and all around nice, still hurt.
  20. I admire that so much! You can be an inspiration to people who see you out there!
  21. Did the woman not go to the doctor? Was CPS called? good grief.... I think the website was hilarious, myself. If someone gets plastic surgery for their babies, it won't be because of this website. It will because those people are sick and need help.
  22. Okay...even if it weren't for the posts, the pictures and the sonogram avatar, you've just confirmed it: YOU ARE PREGGY. I'm wonderful! Even if it is Monday, it's a damn good day!!!
  23. I dunno...but I'm checking the Gazelle Milk they offer. After all - have you ever seen a fat gazelle? Methinks not.
  24. True...very true - I agree that he'd get defensive. Sometimes it's not worth the fight, even though we simmer inside about it for a while afterwards.
  25. Have you ever had issues w/gall bladder? Do you have any pain associated w/this? I was told vomiting at all was BAD, so get a doc appt in ASAP. Good luck to you.
