  1. Yeppers. And, may I add...any nut job that defends her actions so vehemently also needs a mental check.
  2. Many people "predict" by taking the odds and "guessing" the outcome. It's not a far stretch to say that an unstable, emotional basket case mother will cause direct harm, or be responsible through negligence, to one of 14 kids. Anyone? Anyone can lose one of her SIX kids? And then call 911 and threaten to kill themselves in front of the other FIVE? Sorry...no. Not buying that. What I heard was an hysterical woman who was threatening suicide and rambling incoherently about a missing child. The 911 operator isn't there to say, "Don't worry" they are there to assess. It's not easy to do that when someone is hysterical and the information coming out is jumbled and sporatic. I don't know what it's like to lose a child. I'm a single mom and I have ONE. I'm not knocking those who have more, but for me, personally, I didn't have the resources to have more and so I didn't. The more you have, the more you increase your odds of losing one. It's a shame to do that to a child because you WANTED another child. Parents who have more kids than they can handle are SELFISH. Sometimes, there are injustices big enough to cause an uproar. I'm a laid back person and generally don't give a crap what folks do. But, children and animals are my main vice. Don't mess with kids or you'll piss the F out of me. I don't think that falls under any category of "every item to poke at." HUH? Redial on my life or my neighbors life....? Isn't that what folks are doing in Octomom's case? Communities are hearing about this and saying - WTF??? Why does it have to be my house or the people next door to me. Why can't I care about those 14 children in CA who are going to have a horrible life - who already DO have a horrible life. I'm listening to her speak...her stupid little nods, her own justifications. Top that with the Wackadoodle 911 call and I don't need any more information. I don't read tabloids, and I take what's online or TV w/a grain of salt. Don't tell me there are 2 sides...she's shown her 2nd side...and 3rd...and 4th - She's a nut-job. Plain and simple and she's messing with the kids. OH...well, then. That makes it all okay. She'll be happy for a little bit with the kids. Why didn't anyone just say so? The kids, while standing in line for her affection, will have "good moments" to look forward to. Between interviews, at least.... Or, getting her nails done. Or, getting her lips injected. Or, getting her Masters. Or, visiting her frozen eggs. Or, getting more IVF. Or, crying and trying to kill herself. Or, fighting with her own mother. Or, working....HA HA HA....forgot - she doesn't work.
  3. I think it's supposed to get to 79 here. We had the a/c on last night. Windows were open, but no breeze. It's cold inside, though. I swear they keep the a/c running 24/7 here.
  4. This is the men's room. Where else would ladies go for sausage?
  5. Good Vibrations....that one shouted to me. One thing I'd love to have is a toy party. I just don't know too many ladies who'd come.
  6. I agree. Her face looks kinda...cracked? But. I'd take that over fat. She's healthy, and fit and worked hard to get it.
  7. Oh, yeah, Gone Baby Gone... It was kinda slow and really sad because I know chicks like that. But, I thought the mom was really good!!! I was shocked when I realized that's the lady from The Office.
  8. While Plain shakes hands in air, announces he's going to Disneyland, Glouc sneaks in and swipes trophies, making her - THE WINNER.
  9. POODLES??? I don't wanna know... And, no...no intubation needed. A coworker who just had a trachea tube removed. She had to let us know that she CANNOT be intubated. So, bummer. But, there are lots of others you can have a crack at.
  10. Here's the story....of a lovely winner - ME!
  11. I'm going!!!! I saw the ticker at the bottom and already told DH I was going. I'm wearing my tightest and shiniest shirts - it seems that's what they pick from the crowd. I haven't looked up the times, but I will. I'm going early and staying all day if I have to.
  12. PJTP - I signed up a month ago to be a First Responder at work. I've had one class on policy and one CPR training day. Who's boss collapsed yesterday? Mine. Who had to respond? Me. I got the help of a veteran Responder, but I did call for the ambulance and helped lay her on the floor. She shows on one scan that it was a stroke, and another says nothing....So, we're still not sure how's she's doing. She's a sweetheart and I'm crossing my fingers for her. Diet wise... I've been drinking my calories and really not doing well, diet wise. I have a fill scheduled for the 16th under Flouro and I'm hoping my doc will kick my ass into gear.
  13. Mmmmmm....sausage.
  14. You snooze, you lose!
  15. Yes, in our skimpies - Just like the movies! ...go figure. Wine makes any movie good. Well, almost.
  16. :frown: That happens to me quite often! I just get strange looks and I think DH is sometimes jealous of my computer time. (Well, now that football is over and he's actually noticing that I am on all the time.) Count me and my DD in, too. All weekend and yesterday, too. re: facebook - ABSOLUTELY agree with you there! Also, if you're going to pose nude, or have some odd pictures of your man parts in wet underwear, then DON'T put your current work location. GF at work and I went browsing through our company's fellow facebookers and found some disturbing pictures of some coworkers. YIKES!!! re: sleeve - wow... How did you go about getting that arranged?? When is it happening? (Ever since Wasa's threads I've been contemplating. She describes what I've been going through and I think I've been too stubborn to admit it.)
  17. Momma Mia was okay, but like ya'll, I love the music. My girls and I are planning a ladies night with wine and Momma Mia sing along.
  18. IMO just one more, putting her at 7, was too many for her. She's jobless, mooching off her parents, whom she bickers with like a teenager - she's selfish, wacko and no matter how much you "love children", those kids deserve more than the life she can offer. Just because you can have kids doesn't mean you should.
  19. I'm sorry....did someone call me? Last name Winner, first name I am the?
  20. Me, too! I read and want to comment, but by the time I'm caught up, the threads 10 more pages and the idea is gone and no sense going back to it. Okay, missed that one...where was that?
  21. I'd like to thank the Academy and all my fans for making this possible... And, of course LBT for working at the moment.
  22. I can't see this at work, but I have a feeling it's the song from Scrubs...am I right? I'm PJTP - IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY!! (And a pay Friday for me!)
  23. I am woman. Watch me invade....
  24. I'm the weiner...I am weining.
  25. Oh...BROmance. Why didn't you say so?
