  1. I forgot! I have wine. I'm getting some now...settling down to watch Biggest Loser. How twisted is that? But I did exercise today! I won't feel guilty. Damn...too late. Oh, well...wine will wash that away...
  2. That does...thank you...and those are the points that you make that I agree with. I cringe, though, when I read some of what you write because you do seem to throw out somewhat deragatory sentiments and I think that takes away from the points that you're trying to make. (I know you don't care about what others think, but kind of like others on the board that we all know and loathe, radical extreme thoughts tend to push even those who agree with you away.) just my .02
  3. I have the same problem. Spell check doesn't include the correct combo of muahahaha...whatever. What you can do is put: ...insert evil laugh... Lame? Yes. Effective? No. Spelled correctly? Yes.
  4. I haven't come across a thread like this...maybe I'm wrong. Born from my facebook Movie List note, I realized I watch way too many movies...and I'd like to know what ya'll think of movies that you've seen. Recently I saw "He's Just Not That Into You" and I hated it. Not all of it, but most of it...I liked the uptight wife who threw the mirror and then cleaned it up. But overall the movie was really not what I expected. I expected it to follow the premise of the book, and I thought it'd be more of a chick-bonding flick than a sappy love story (or a few of 'em). The stories depicted proved the "exceptions" rather than "rule", which is what the book tried so hard to convey. I also expected more from the Drew Barrymore character - I like her in movies and she fell flat in this one. Thoughts? Movies?
  5. A coworker went to Jury Duty and came back without being selected. The guy on trial was there because of having over an ounce of cocaine on him....the sentence he was facing was 2-4 years and the other would-be jurors were complaining that the sentence was too harsh. I don't have an issue with the more...natural...drugs (think Phelps), but I think 2-4 years for coke is an okay sentence, IMO.
  6. Well, he was totally bald. That I know.
  7. Please explain this for me. What's a home-grown American? What was it 100 years ago? 200 years ago? Are we really so set against change that we can't rethink an immigration policy now? 200 years ago, half my ancestry wasn't "home grown", and the other half were dying off. 100 years ago, DH's ancestors were Hawaiian - now they're "home-grown" Americans. I'm 100% behind the right for defending your home and land, and I 100% agree that immigrants shouldn't sneak in and destroy property. What I disagree with is the "I am American and you're not" mentality. America is so young and has changed so much over the last couple centuries, I don't understand why people are so set against change now. It won't be created here on LBT, but I do wish that policies regarding immigration would change. And, for the record, I do hope that this rancher is proven innocent and this case dismissed. His land. Period. And, like Plain says...that's a lot of body burying land to be had. If he'd really wanted to be evil, he had the opportunity. I get the impression by reading this thread that folks are veering from the original post - this rancher and the people who are destroying his land - to immigrants as a whole. I don't think we can lump any group of people into categories like "vermin". That, IMO, is disrespectful to folks who do work hard, and didn't have the opportunity to be born here. There are folks that are scum, stupid, etc...but they don't come marked with a standard "non-American" label.
  8. I will take them! DH never has to know.
  9. Oh...there they all are! I just had to post to see them all. Apparently I won't be posting just to post, I'll be posting to reload the postings that were posted just to post - by other posters. And, fuzzy wuzzy was a wuss.
  10. Help! I can't see new posts. I know they're there...my phone keeps getting the notifications and I log in to view and the last one I see is mine from earlier! I want juicy leg hair posts, but I can't view all the details on my phone. Stealing from a 1980's ad that I remember very well... "I want my LBT!"
  11. Thank you! That does help knowing that it's possible. Sometimes I'm not so sure... :tongue2:
  12. I have a pair of 14's in my closet. Started at 24 and currently am 18's. I'm working on it! I know 14's aren't the final goal, but for me it's just a mini-goal. I have the size 24's hanging behind them so I can see the inches difference in the size.
  13. I'm reeling after the "who are they" comment. How are radicals like this banded? Don't they think it goes against God to mess with it like that?
  14. I'm so there! Yessir! Over a year! Fish makes me gag was over a year ago??? Wow.... 10,000! (Unless I multi-quoted wrong...)
  15. You did it! Yay...
  16. What view is that? Am I in some strange view? Oh, yeah...this is coming out a little later, but when did LBT change? How do I change back? I miss BBK at the top!
  17. So, you have an excuse to be nutty. I've just got my craziness. :rose: I can post this: I called to make a fill appt and I insisted on it being flouro (Thanks, Donna!). The nurse said Doc didn't normally do that because it's under surgical procedures. I insisted, so she'll make the appt mid-March. I'm really hoping that this will get me over the hump I've been in.
  18. I called today...he's out of town this week and I'll be in required meetings the next two weeks after that. I did talk to the nurse, whom I adore, and she was very encouraging. I stressed that I wanted a flouro fill and she'll arrange that. I just need to make sure everything is still okay. Please don't be depressed RSG - just keep trucking through. On a funny note, DH tried to help by telling me I have a lot of extra skin. My bf and I started laughing, and he looked sincerely confused, as if what he said really was HELPING me feel better. Sarcastically, I said, "Oh...really? A lot?" and he said, "OH YEAH! A LOT." Gee, thanks hon. Now I feel 100% better. I'm not fat, just saggy and loose.
  19. D'oh! Um....that didn't work.
  20. posting to get to page #667... Yeah, I'm superstitious.
  21. I have a question for the at goal folks regarding any plateaus or walls you may have hit on your journey. Did you have a plateau? How long was it? How did you break it? How many pounds did you lose before hitting the wall? How many pounds after? Sorry for the essay format... :cursing: I guess I had more than one question... I've hit a wall, and it's been that way for over 6 months. I'm still struggling, and haven't given up - but it's hard. I'm hoping to get words of comfort here.
  22. Okay, now I'm, crying! I wasn't going to open the thread because of where it's located but then I saw RSG was the original poster. I have missed you RSG, and I feel you 100%!!! I have stalled for over 6 months and I don't know what to do. I do tend to drink with food, and I'm sure I could make better choices. I am glad to see you're back, though, and that you're getting a fill. You've encouraged me, and I think I'll call the doctor, too. I have been embarrassed, but I think I really need to get past that and just go in and talk to him. You are beautiful! And you have lost weight - pounds that WON'T come back! Keep in touch, please - we'll get through this slump together.
  23. That's too weird! Look at it this way, they're doing you a favor - I'm sorry, but they sound like the type of people that you'd want to stay 30 miles away. :crying: Yes! And bring puppies...! Yes! And play with puppies...(yes, I love dogs.) Susan, you sound like me! I'd hate to sit at home for that long, and would probably "release myself" before too long.
  24. Ah, geee..thank you so much! YOU are a knock-out, and your daughter is so pretty - and funny! We loved her laughter! You have a wonderful family - don't be too hard on DS, it's typical at that age, and DD just wanted to go the mall! And, I'm just now seeing this...My email notifications aren't working....:cursing:
  25. Hey, I'm proud to be a post-bander and everyone else should be shot.
