PJTP - DH (really not the "H" part, but we mostly are...) and I just got our first joint banking account. I'm a bit nervous. Not that I don't trust him, but it's just DIFFERENT. (I don't know why I'm nervous...we opened it with HIS money...ha ha...SUCKER.)

Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!
AMEN! In fact, didn't the nurses already report her on that? They reported her, she didn't like it - since criticism is way beneath her - so she "fired" them. Talk about being dramatic. She's Mommy Dearest at her best and she's acting like the primadonna she wants to be.

Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!
I said that to DH last night. WHY would you turn down free help? I dislike this girl intensely, but for the kids sake I want her to have the help she needs. She's an IDIOT and one of those kids is going to get seriously hurt.

Hey, last spring I just showed up with 9 puppies and a mean momma dog (she wasn't mean to ME), and DH just shrugged and sighed a lot. We ended up putting Momma down, but the puppies found homes. I promised him I'd NEVER do that again. And that promise is the HARDEST to keep. There are so many strays I just want to pick up and take inside. I do have him convinced that a small dog would be okay...but he gets to pick it.

How do you get them to stay? If I iron, then the wrinkles come back with a vengence.

Let's Talk Movie Review
I heard it had a pretty violent rape scene - and that was from DD's BFF. Yes, Welcome Nurse Melly! LOL - It's funny how many different tastes there are! re: "I love you, Man" -I really want to see that. It looks like a good bromance movie....will women like it, or is it geared towards guys? re: "Duplicity" DH and I say it looks like another Oceans 11...are we right?

First of all - GOOD MORNING - Happy Monday! Yeah, right...now that the sarcasm is over, I'll jump into the multi-quote. Me, too! We don't agree on movies, but we like the same creatures! I once had a bat dive at my head while I was showing off on the diving board....I ended up shrieking and falling in - most unflattering. I don't get ironing...if something is wrinkled, I toss it back into the dryer. If it shrinks, I throw it into the basket of clothes I'm either going to wear again one day, or sell at a yard sale. I like crows much better than pigeons. Pigeons just stare all blank and creepily... Last I read, giving her opinions on porn.

The prez on Leno
I loved it! DH is very right-wing and even he liked it. (Of course, after he said, "He talks good...let's see him back it up.") But, I think he's charming and funny, and I enjoyed hearing him speak on his own. (Then again, I don't think Leno's questions weren't pre-approved and answers thought out.) But, I enjoyed it very much. I understand about security, but I had a friend on the secret service detail for Hillary and she really abused the SS, by having them carry luggage, and all kinds of things she shouldn't have. And, what about Clinton? Playing sax, SNL...and when he'd go around DC, he'd take side trips. So, the whole idea isn't new. I think it's BETTER to humanize the president. It is the highest position, but it's not showing less respect when they try to connect to the general public. He's not a God, so why not put him in the public eye more often. How many people watch the speeches, the news vs the entertainment industry. I can speak for me when I say I'd rather see the prez on Leno than on CNN.

You can google keylogger download and put it on. It's really cool. Unfortunately, DD has been at a friend's for the weekend and I haven't been able to test it out yet! LOL I love those. One of my favorites is this one: Ha ha...love the imagery.

Let's Talk Movie Review
Got a chance to see Taken - LOVED IT. It's the kind of movie that makes cheer out loud, because if someone took my daughter I'd want to do everything he does. (Don't have those skills of course, but I'd WANT to.)

That's so adorable...my heart just melted a little. Heading to freezer to freeze it back up to where it should be, damn it! DH is about 4 inches taller. I do miss the tall guys (Long-term bf's in past have been above 6'), but he's still taller (even if by a tiny bit) than me if I'm wearing heels, and that's good enough.

Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!
At least with the attention, the babies may get the care they deserve. Without the attention and help she's getting because of it, what would be happening to the kids - or Octo's parents, for that matter.

I had a friend in high school that, eye-to-eye was a little shorter than I am and I'm 5'5"....but for every "how tall are you" question, she'd put 5'6". To this day she still puts that (you know those emails that go around...she still putting that.) I'm not sure why that always bothered me...it's only one inch - but dang it! She wasn't 5'6".

Kat, your youngest sounds a lot like my DD. Actually, I think DD is a little bit your youngest, and now turning into a little bit of your oldest! :tt2: I've tried to take her "stuff" away and she just shrugs and goes, "Okay." Nothing got to her...Until last month she lost her phone privelage and she actually cried. She's not BAD, just becoming more aloof and sometimes too sassy for her own good. I love the idea of the keystroke thing...where do I get one? A couple months ago, she was crying in her room and she texted me asking if she could talk to me. (snort - texting me from the fricken bedroom...) But, she had taken the computer while I wasn't there and looked up sex. And, of course, when you do that all kinds of porn pictures and pop-ups happen. I was stupidly naive thinking I didn't need the parental guards. She was crying and shaking and said she broke the computer because instead of coming to me, she decided to delete her user account. But, she's not an admin, so she could only delete part of it and all her iTunes got wiped out. (ha ha ha...) So, we talked about sex and I put in the rules for the computer, and the parental guides (which irritate me because it slows my computer down!)

Anyone notice Post Banders are a bit snobbish?

That's where I find the toughest line to draw. She's cleaner than I am, so her room and the bathroom she uses is spotless. Every now and then her cereal bowl is left in the living room, but she's good about keeping things neat. I feel weird paying her for something she does naturally, but maybe I do need to reward her for being really clean. What I'd really like to pay her for is the attitude. She's getting that "tone" and I HATE it. The eye rolls and tone make me go into crazy-bitch-mom mode and that's when we argue. Anyone pay their kids to be nice? I mentioned that to DH and he flipped. "In my day" arguments ensue anytime I try to work with DD. He really believes that kids should be snapped back into reality, and I do to a point. I also think times have changed so much, that it may be harder to stop it than to work with it. As for internet accounts, cell phones, all that...I have DD's passwords and have openly told her that if she uses my computer, it's in the living room and I know the passwords. No texting crap, because I read it. If she doesn't like it, she can hand over her phone and get off the computer. I also set up a google alert for her name and any names she goes by.

When there this age, the only times they smile at you is because they want a ride somewhere or money. Or both. It just seemed to happen overnight, too. One day she was normal and the next...not so much. Anyone out there have a little hellion and turned it around? If so, how? What freedoms do you limit and which ones do you allow for?
