I am 7 months almost 8 months post op. The last 2 weeks, I feel as if I could eat a horse. I have been eating more in the last 2 weeks. I do not know what is going on. I cannot continue like this. It will NOT be good. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am 6 months out from surgery and my husband and I have started having problems. I have actually already put a deposit down on an apartment. He gets so upset about anything I do. If I post a picture of just me on Facebook, he says it is all about me. He says I have changed. Of course I have, I am more confident, I care more about what I look like all the time. I am not ashamed to say, "at this time, it IS ALL about me". I feel better than I have in a very long time. I love him more than life, but I cannot deal with the issues at hand. I feel great physically and want to feel just as great emotionally.

Started 4-24-12 at 375 pounds. SiZe 5x shirt 30/32 pants
Now 7-18-12 244 size 1x-2x shirt and size 20pants.

The turtle is definitely coming out of his shell more these days.

I am of German descent, and in my opinion, we here in America are doing a huge disservice to our children by "protecting" them from alcohol. I was given small amounts of beer in my bottle as a baby. And as I grew I was never refused alcoholic beverages, they were limited, just as any responsible parent would with sodas.
Now the argument can be made on both sides about health advantages/disadvantages. But where I saw the biggest difference was in my late teens & early twenties when all my friends were out getting sloshed, alcohol really wasn't that big of a deal to me, because I had access to it and was taught moderation with it my entire life.

sounds like you got a lot of sh!t going on right now. marital, family, school. hope it all works itself out in the end.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....I did and it urnt a hole in my stomach. I had to have emergency surgery. Almost died. DO NOT TAKE IT! Take Tylenol.

Let me just say how much I love life these days. I hope everyone is doing well and feeling great and the pounds are melting off. I am posting a picture of me that was taken on my 5 month mark.
I do have one question for you guys...when can I switch from Flintstones Vitamins to an adult one a day?

Hello all. Hit my 6 month post op date earlier this month. All is well and Im feeling awesome. Its been a crazy journey so far. Here are some of my stats to date. Weight is down 150 lbs, down 54 inches from head to toe and My BMI is down 21.3 points. Im off of 4 Heart Failure meds and getting close to stop using my CPAP device. Life is good. Congrats Ken. You are doing great.I don't want to take away from your story. I will tell you about my fabulous journey you are just starting to enjoy. May 2013. Went to the Dr. For a physical. Weight. 488. BP190/120 sleep apnea. High cholesterol. Type 2 diabetes. Put on many meds. Etc. Was so ashamed of where I was. Started my 6 month insurance required program. June 15th 2013 joined the YMCA. Pool was and is my best friend. After 6 months of Dr. Visits. Psych eval. Was approved for surgery just after Thanksgiving. Got the last possible date for my surgery. Dec 26th. Merry Christmas to me.day of surgery. 423 lbs. I was ecstatic with 65 lbs. Lost. Could have been better. Surgical team was happy.fast forward today I weigh 253 lbs. Yes that is 235 lbs gone. 170 in less than 8 months. Last blood draw. A1C. 5.1 glucose average 87. Cholesterol 177. BP 126/60. No sleep apnea. Off all meds. Only have to take Vitamins. Dr. Had an app. 3.3% chance of heart disease. Added 20 yrs to my life. Where I am going with this. I still use the pool almost every day. Walk 6 plus miles a day. I can't wait for sept 26th. 9 month check up. This is n amazing journey. Oh yeah. Meet the love of my life thru this website. She had the surgery July 2013. Has lost over 140 lbs. She is my rock. What a great support system. Ken you can reach for the stars. Keep up the great work. Don't ever give up. God bless!!

Today started out not too good but I was determined to try to take something in and what do u know i consumed a whole Protein Shake within a few hours..Thank you all sooooooo much for your prayers and well wishes. I dont know what more is ahead during this journey but I can tell u that the surgery to put the stents in tomorrow has been cancelled and im going home instead...Thanks Again Everyone Your Support Meant Everything

No one is forcing their religion on ANYONE, the gentleman is simply giving HIS point of view. A little tolerance goes a long way.
ALSO, no one here is judging her, they are simply reacting to the rude things she's saying... "If you can't handle the heat... Stay outta the kitchen". Remember that phrase??

Not "forcing religion" on anyone. Just offering it as advice.

JTickle, I'll reiterate, if you don't like what you see in those women.....offer to help them, build them up, and encourage them. Don't you think that would be better than sitting back and dragging them through the dirt on this forum?
If you're seeking advice on this forum, you've gotten it: talk to your therapist and tell them the mood swings, the feelings of being judgmental, etc that you're feeling. They are far more qualified to help you than a lot of us are.
Pray and seek God. There is joy in The Lord. A lot of the moodiness can be altered by a relationship with Jesus.

If you don't want advice or constructive criticism why even post? So you have more people to practice your Jerky behavior on? You need a serious reality check lady.
