  1. Monica, I would say your too tight. You may need just a bit taken out of your band. You should be able to eat solid food. It is unhealthy to not eat. Ask your doctor and make sure your getting enough calories and Protein in. Chris, it is ok if we have a bad spell. We have the band to help up get back on track. Some days I am tight in the morning and some days I am tight at night. It is so weird. The only time I know I will be tight is if I hang out with my friends somewhere. lol I am garanteed to PB lol
  2. It is so nice to be with people who love you for you. Someday I hope to find that.
  3. Chris I am so glad you got the poll rolling! I am going to wait till the 12th when I go see my Dr. I do have to brag I have lost 27 inches *happy dance*
  4. Thanks, I have issues with not knowing what size to wear. Plus I HATE shopping. I was going thru my clothes this weekend trying to devide them out into Too big, Too small, just right, catagories. Even though I am getting smaller I had very few things in my too big pile. I think I needed another opinion. But I am wearing something today that I have not worn in 3 years Woo Hoo New to me Clothes!
  5. I am still here. I have decided I cannot eat when I go to the water park. EWWWW
  6. That is Great! I am going to have to order my suit in a smaller size then last year.
  7. I can eat a burger, ONLY if I remove the top bun and any excess bread. Now Fries I can still eat...but not tator tots. lol fickle band isnt she.
  8. When the trainer in the gym told me to change it up some I had to question them. Basically it boiled down to. When I am on the Elliptical Not to do one pace. Speed it up for a while then go slower for a while then kick it back up. I can tell that when I do it My fast pace is much faster then it ever has been.
  9. I would not worry about it. Your body is swolen from the surgery.
  10. I havent posted any pictures yet. I am not sure I could handle it If I cant see any difference.
  11. Audio books are the best in my opinion. I even rent them from the library and download them to my mp3 player.
  12. I love Audio Books I just finished a PD James. It was great to listen to while working out.

  15. I was going to say the same thing For me no headache is as bad as the dehydrated headache. Drink some gatoraid It will rehydrate you fast or pedilite.
  16. Wow Those are amazing. I am so glad you had such a great time. Thanks for sharring your pictures. I cant wait till I go on my cruise.
  17. If your throwing up you need to chew more or eat slower. You shouldnt be throwing up all the time.
  18. I update mine when ever I have 2 consecuitive weights. lol
  19. Congrats Mary! That is so awsome! I have found that I crave sweats during times of stress!. Bad Cerrin. But Now I have ONE piece of chocolate instead of the whole bag. Good Cerrin lol I went back to the gym last night and worked up a sweat.
  20. OK here is my truth. I ate out at Breakfast out 5 times a week 5 dollars = 25/week lunch out every day about 10 dollars = 70/week dinner was out at least 5 times a week 15 dollars = 75/week Then I would buy groceries for home about 30 every week I spent 200 every week on food. Now I spend 50 every week on food. I live alone so I dont buy for anyone but myself.
  21. Sneezing and hiccups are natural Your really not going to mess something up by doing either...It might ach a bit if you do them the first few days after surgery. But that is natural. You should definitly avoid throwing up...at all costs. But That is just because you dont just do it once. As for the excercising and being stiff. Honestly I dont even think about my port or band except for eatting and getting fills. I dont feel it, I dont notice it. I notice the incision at times because mine still has a ridge on it. and I just rub it when I am reading or watching a movie. Weird I know. But just move arround. The less you think about it the better off you will be. It is secure. Surgins dont want to have to go back in and fix things so it is going to be secure.
  22. Well the plus may be you wont have the sagging issue. since the muscle is attached to the skin instead of the fat.
  23. Wow I am glad to hear your ok now. I get gas bubbles every time I have a fill. but not pain. well kinda pain but nothing like you were talking about. I havent been to the gym in 5 days I am going today. My house got broken into so I have been nervious about being away from my house for any length of time. I bought a security system today. So I hope I will soon be able to get my life under control again and be able to get back to the gym with out too much stress.
  24. Missy You are doing an awsome job! I just have to say that I love my dr and I love my band. It is an amazing feeling (to me) to know I am on the downward track. I am even thinking about doing a 5k which before surgery I hated walking. lol Now I am actualy thinking about participating in a 5k wow.
  25. lol OK I guess I am not the only one. I just figure Everything that was stuck is gone. I dont want to drink. because something that got to my stomach I dont want to wash away. and if I chew better I can eat again. Seems to work.
