  1. Hope you like it! I posted some more crock pot recipes in the recipe section...check them out. I love carnitas made with pork loin , onions, green salsa, and green chiles. I get super lean pork and the green chiles make my pouch so happy. Again, I skip the tortillas, but yum!
  2. I always have headaches from narcotics...I don't know why...
  3. I find I can eat a lot more soft foods like yogurt...I wouldn't worry.
  4. 3 lbs boneless chicken breast 1 large onion, sliced 4 cloves minced garlic 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced 1 29 oz can tomato puree 1 1/2 c plain greek yogurt 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp Garam masala 1 tbsp cumin 1 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp pepper 1 -3 tsp cayenne ( to taste) 2 bay leaves Chopped cilantro or parsley for topping Place everything up to bay leaves in large bowl Coat chicken well Place in slow cooker...add bay leaves on top Cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high Top with cilantro or parsley if desired Can be served with brown rice or quinoa cooked in chicken broth Or with nan for the rest of the family (sigh) This will be a day I miss my bread!
  5. Slow cooker tikka masala...I'll miss the garlic nan, though!
  6. I'm on a prescription sleeping aid, but since it's in pill form it isn't absorbed very well...perhaps you could try the new nyquil product that's made just for sleep. I believe it's in liquid form. I don't recall the name.
  7. It does get better each day..hang in there.
  8. Best of luck to all who are waiting!
  9. I sure hope things start looking up for you soon!
  10. So glad to hear you're eating! I hope you're able to find a good support group in your area or good therapist to stick with...remember, we're all pulling for you!
  11. Happy happy news everyone!
  12. Thinking of you...wishing you the best!
  13. I usually have a salad for lunch and a v8, but, yeah, I could use more veg.
