Hey the thrift stores, especially in the nicer areas of town seem most economical. I have a sewing machine that I need to relearn to sew, because I refuse to give away name brands like Calvin Klein, Tahari, etc or those really classic pieces.... :-) and I am worried about my shoe size, I have heels I haven't worn that are sexy as hell but i cant wear because of my back and weight.....and they can't be returned. :-( I have already let go of bags to claim on taxes, as I do every year, but also because though my surgery isn't until 2/26 I REFUSE TO GO BACK !

That was helpful. I am doing some stuff for the next 3 weeks before surgery... Workout-wise, to build my definition prior. Luckily I have muscular genes so I hope it helps. My mom is 5'2" and 125-130 pds. At 57 she only just started ab workouts in the last year because she lost her natural 4-6 pack and wanted more definition...... Sickening huh! LOL!! Hopeful....

Just research research research..... Usher's ex-wife had complications during hers in another country and Kanye's mom past as well..... It happens, so all u can do is research and pray. I had tummy tuck, lipo of upper body and thighs in bowie, md for 8k, and this doctor has document he gives you stating any problems with your level of satisfaction, he will fix at no cost to you... He was good! Good luck. Will pray for your safety...:-)

Well I gained weight with the depo (20 pds)....... It affects everyone differently...something with less hormones but effective is the best choice. I don't have to worry about that because my hubby got clipped... So I am happily off of birth control and my pds last only 3 days... :-) Good luck!

Exactly right libra_lisa. I have forbidden the few that know to tell anyone else, whether it's at church or Fam because gossipers and judging people come in all packages. No one ever guesses my weight correctly because I am muscular genetically and the fat is under and on top. It took awhile for my husband to be ok with it. He said that he doesn't want me to lose the booooty and boooobies...:-/ , it took another health scare/hospitalization...... So it will be on feb 26th. I am anxious enough I don't need or want comments from non-supporters...... I would like to retain my christianity and not go back to the n.y./ before I found Christ .....:-0

Some insurances will give you a lift due to rashes and neg impact on functioning or living, etc....... The same for arm, thigh lift and tummy....

Eating of foods I won't be able to eat later made me gain more than 10 pds from my last weigh-in before my pre-op appt. I lost 5 pds on my liquid and when I went in for my pre-op appt 4days before my Surg and my surgeon canceled my surgery and made me reached for 2-3 wks later. Couldn't do it 2 weeks later due to in-laws' vacation so it's the 26th.... :-( I was angry and pissed because I had no clue it could happen. He said it showed I had probs sticking w the same diet I will be on later and it doesn't give confidence that I can handle it......

I am having my RnY on the 26th at GWU in D.C. And had to set up help with kids with in laws because my husband's job is unpredictable and can get crazy (P.G.). I live in southern Maryland..... Yes.... I have been on a liquid diet for two weeks, told I needed to lose more than the 5 pds I have and my Surg was moved from 2/5 to 2/26.....:-( I am already nervous and this dragging on is making the anxiety elevate. Had to get a Xanax script....
