They have to, it's HIPPA, law. You can specifically say they may only speak to you and put a notice on your chart and on their patient board that's usually by nurses station. I have similar stipulations and two people named as my healthcare agents for advance directive purposes, in case of emergency issues ( hubby & mom). Just state it and repeat it. When you show you you have knowledge and are serious they will take notice ( nurses and docs), whereas sometimes they ignore people.

Yes that is workplace harassment and if she can't get the message from you, you need to escalate it to someone in authority. This is your personal journey. She was not invited.

And don't we have to follow this similar liquid crap for the first week or two post-op? Ridiculousness. :-( It's making me grumpy.

I am in Calvert county which is between Anne arundel Cnty and Charles county.its about 1 1/2 hrs to bmore..... In light traffic. Moved out of Towson a few years ago. Sucks in regards to travel/trips, but great schools and barely any real crime.

She is acting Nasty and unsupportive. She hopped on your coat-tails when you went and got your surgery. Just smile and thank her for emulating you as that's the best form of flattery. Then keep smiling and let her know that she needs to keep her opinions to herself and nothing good to say, etc.... Say it nicely and walk away while her mouth is hanging open..... It works...:-). You are a grown woman now. No bullying, no popular girls/boys, ppl need to grow up and take care of their own business.... Because if she is taking her precious time to say this crap, she doesn't have much of a life. Chin up. You are getting trim and WILL be HOT! Just focus. Haters aren't welcome.... :-)

That works! As long as weight comes off and the liver shrinks, especially w/laparoscopic. Some are cut larger below breast bone.... I need smaller cuts. Get mederma, some special scar healer, and later a bikini for the first time.
