Tomorrow. Im so nervous I really need this surgery. I'm asking for prayers up for me because I'm a firm believer of prayer. If all goes well on Feb 19th( my surgery was pushed back due personal obligation) I will have my gastric bypass n it will be the begin of a new me. Please pray for me. Thanks. GOD BLESS U

No the scheduler didn't call me back like she was supposed to. I'm very upset. I even emailed her n she.said she will let me know. Now I have to wait until Tuesday because she is off Monday...ugh stressed

I know how you feel. I have been approved by insurance as well but the scheduler has not called yet. I think I am being obnoxious and am calling everyday, but this is life changing so I think I'm aloud to be a little obsessive.

I waited 2 weeks before I emailed. Was told I would hear something in a few days. Waited another week and then was told that the scheduler was out of the office for at least another week. Finally got my date on the 27th of January. It felt almost disrespectful to me that they kept putting me off. Just be honest and tell me it is going to be 4-6 weeks or whatever. I put off several things in anticipation of a January surgery date and now things are all discombobulated and with the way my pre diet is effecting my moods who knows what will get done.lol

Well for me I have a surgery date.of 2/19 and all I need to make sure is that I am approved before I get completely happy. Although I'm positive everything will go through. Can I call my insurance company to find out if a request has been made?

YES U Can! I did and had my doc do a doc to doc consult with the approving dr at the insurance co.... Approval in less than a week from convo

And he told my doc one thing I was missing that I took care of two days later. My doc faxed copy of proof of resolution of issue to the insurance co. Doc and I got the approval by phone two days later.....:-) good luck!

I had a problem with insurance at docs office so I just called customer service at my insurance company. They were very nice and gave me current info.

I got the email from the scheduler today. I have been approved :D B) I cant stop smiling im sooooo happy.We go through the longest process to get this surgery done and at the end we all are waiting anxiously for that approval. And i got mines today. I am too happy. Thank you all for your well wishes and your prayers
