doing this together ♥

I had rny 2weeks ago...hubby will be getting sleeve on 2/11 im having slow weight loss plus still in a lot of pain. Im sure he will lose twice as much weight once he is post op and perhaps deal with his pain better than me...any advice you can give me as to how to help him while im still in recovery and not see this as a competition between us...im afraid I may get bitter seeing him lose so much weight in a shorter amount of time...

Realizing your losses will be different at the start of your journey is half the battle. You also have to deal with hormones and slower weight loss as a result. Just do the best you can do and don't compare yourselves. You are different. Hang in there! And we are here if you need us to share your victories and support when you need that. You can do it!!!

My hubby will be having RNY about 6 months after me. He makes a competition out of everything. I feel the same as you..

Jessica. can't wait to start this journey.
