  1. I can't wait to be able to fly and not have to worry about my fat touching the person next to me! Last time I flew I had to buy the extra seat because I was afraid they would deny me my seat for being too big. And it will be nice not to have to use a seatbelt extender and put the tray table all the way down without hitting my belly! lol. I think without having to worry about those embarrassing things flying might not be so bad.
  2. From what I've been reading, stalls are totally normal, especially the closer you get to goal weight. Plus 100 down in six months is Fantastic and pretty fast! Keep up the good work
  3. Hi!! I'm pretty new here too and I'm so glad I found this group. It definitely makes me stronger! I can't wait to hear more about your experiences. I'd love to see some before and after pics if you have them
  4. Wow what an amazing transformation! I bet you feel so fast and light
  5. Yay!!!!! I am a little bit jealous, tho! lol
  6. I have the same feelings you do. I am still in pre-op stages and I have an epic struggle each day to try and stay on my diet. And the closer I get to actually getting a surgery date, the slower time seems to move. I feel like I am losing my mind waiting. I am thankful I have work 'cause that keeps my mind off it for a time. I just keep checking in here and reading all I can about the process. I've also been reading www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com. (I know--weird name) She has a blog about what she eats post-op and I'm learning a lot about food from it. Hang in there--we can get through this together!
  7. Hi can you all add me? I'm Wendilou13. thanks!
  8. Wow-- this is really good to know. I didn't know why we weren't supposed to drink with our meals. That will be a big change for me post op. Congrats on getting back in control!

  14. Wow! Less than a month away! Congrats! I don't have a surgery date yet Yes you will def be able to lose those eight pounds. I wonder what the showering thing is about? I haven't heard anyone mention that before. Maybe to reduce the chance of infection at the incision site? Well, I look forward to hearing more about your journey!
