blender products suggestions

‎...anyone have a Vita-Mix? thoughts/reviews? I'm also looking at the magic bullet, but it has mixed reviews (though I do like the small size for travel). just looking for something to make smoothies with protein powder, ice and select/few veggies/fruit.

I LOVE my Ninja. It works awesome and fast. I got the cheaper one on QVC for about 50 bucks and it works just fine.

If i could marry my ninja i would!! It's so powerful. Worth every penny!!!!

I got a Blendtec instead of a Vitamix. they are comparable in power, but the Blendtec fits under your kitchen cabinets and the Vitamix generally does not. I also like the digital power buttons on the Blendtec compared to the turny knob on the Vitamix. they are both pretty expensive, but worth the cost IMO. they will both purée ice, fruit and veg with ease.

The Ninja is absolutely wonderful for just about anything and everything.

I started with a magic bullet and within a few weeks was frustrated with the thing... I like a lot of ice and it couldn't keep up. For Christmas I received a Vitamix and I'm completely in LOVE!!! It's amazing! Actually in the past 3 years I've gone through 2 blenders... I love smoothies and this thing blows away anything I've ever had. Yes its expensive and yes its tall but it is a lifesaver!

I also have a vitamix but have it for a different reason. My daughter is disabled and eats via a gtube. She did not do well on pre made formula so we feed her all real food and use the vitamix to blend it! It has been a godsend! I make smoothies and ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, soups. There isn't much you can't make in this thing. It is going to be really handy for after surgery.
