  2. Omg Congrats! I had my surgery on March 19th. I'm down 100lbs since Jan 2013. I am having baby fever bad. I just had a chemical pregnancy last month. It was an accident. We were not trying at all and only had sex one time the entire month! Good luck! I'm going to follow your story now!
  3. I'm shitting bricks ladies. I had my surgery in March (was supposed to be an April post op) and I just found out Im pregnant!
  4. Is it bad I'm secretly hoping I get pregnant sooner? I have always had issues with fertility. It took me 3.5 years with my first and 1 year with my second. I would give anything or a surprise! I just hope of it does happen its a boy. Lol
  5. I have not had open surgery but I just wanted to say I hope you find out what your seeking and good luck on the pregnancy. I think about you often!
  6. I was allowed to do protein powders or ready to drink shakes 1 week post op.
  7. I would have gone to the ER but my surgeon and his hospital are 90+ miles away from me and I am concerned about having someone scope me who isn't familiar with RNY patients. Had it been a lot of blood or kept happening I would have went in. Bad thing is, I'm now scared to eat. But that will help me in the long run. Lol
  8. I had 1/4 cup of bean with bacon Soup and about 3 small bites of dark meat moist chicken that was fork tender. I chewed really well. Surgeon said he thinks I probably just got over full and irritated a incision or it could have been from my esophagus.
  9. He called back finally! Told me to keep an eye on things, gave me a list of things to look out for and told me to hold off on any more solids for 48 hrs.
  10. So I ate a little too much and ended up vomiting up a little food and blood. I'm waiting for my surgeon to call back but I'm worried. Has anyone had this happen? I'm 3 weeks post op. I'm not having any pain now. Thanks,

  12. I just had my surgery with Dr. Ramos at Ocala regional. Awesome doctor and great hospital! Had my surgery on march 19th and down 23lbs.
  13. I have kept calling all night. No answer for either of my doctors. I called my local ER and they wouldn't give me any answers beyond "it doesn't sound bad. Come in if you want". I will just keep trying my surgeon. My husband and nana said the same thing happened to them after gallbladder surgery and it was just plasma. If I start hurting I will go in to the ER. It isn't draining anymore though.
  14. So I am 11 days post op. my main incision is pretty gruesome because of my stretch marks. My surgeon was not able to line them back up completely so I kinda have a "lip" on it. It has healed up ok except where this "lip" is. Just a few minutes ago I noticed my Shirt Was damp, so I lifted up my shirt and my incision is leaking a orangish yellowish clear liquid. It doesn't hurt, I have not over extended myself and no fever, redness or warmth. I tried to call my surgeon but even the on call answering service is not answering. My surgeon is 90 miles from me. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  15. Omg me too!!! And my husband just brought home 2 thick ribeyes!
  16. Ok! I was worried they tricked me or something! They put me under and cut me but left my stomach alone. I didn't really watch the clock close while drinking but I sipped slowly and took breaks. When it all went down with no issues and the container was empty I was like "wait......" I checked the receipt for the time and it was 45 min prior. I was worried I did something wrong!
  17. Hello, I am 1 week post op. I'm able to tolerate 14oz of muscle milk over a 30-45 minute time period. I take small sips and never feel over full or get the foamies. I am just concerned I will stretch my pouch. Should I be able to do that so soon after surgery. I also don't have much issue getting in my 64oz of fluids a day. Thanks in advance.
  18. Hi everyone! I'm 3 days post op and feel so weak today. I finally started passing gas from the bottom end last night. But today my pouch isn't as happy as it was. Is this normal?
  19. This trapped gas is worse than the actual pain from the surgery! I have been up and walking over and over, chewing chewable gas x and drinking warm liquids! Nothing is helping and it is making my shoulders and middle back kill me! Any tips? I had surgery on Tuesday and was discharged yesterday. I have not passed gas but I have been able to let some mild burps but I can feel all the trapped gas on both ends!
  20. Hi everyone! I had surgery on Tuesday and was discharged yesterday at 5:25pm? Does that seem a little fast to anyone? I had RNY. Any tips for making recovery easier?
  21. Who are my fellow WLS siblings for Monday March 18th? We are almost there!!!
