Incision drainage!?!?! Help!

So I am 11 days post op. my main incision is pretty gruesome because of my stretch marks. My surgeon was not able to line them back up completely so I kinda have a "lip" on it. It has healed up ok except where this "lip" is.

Just a few minutes ago I noticed my Shirt Was damp, so I lifted up my shirt and my incision is leaking a orangish yellowish clear liquid. It doesn't hurt, I have not over extended myself and no fever, redness or warmth.

I tried to call my surgeon but even the on call answering service is not answering. My surgeon is 90 miles from me.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Keep calling your surgeon. If needed, call your hospital and speak to the nurse on call. My doc says the only bad question is the one you don't ask.

Definitively call again .. Or call you internist for advice... They must have an on call line. Good luck

This happened to me about 10 days post op. I had open surgery and my drain was taken out the next day. Doc said it was just Fluid and the color can range from motor oil to light pink. But if it was to get thicker and darker in consistency to go to the er.

I have kept calling all night. No answer for either of my doctors. I called my local ER and they wouldn't give me any answers beyond "it doesn't sound bad. Come in if you want". I will just keep trying my surgeon.

My husband and nana said the same thing happened to them after gallbladder surgery and it was just plasma. If I start hurting I will go in to the ER. It isn't draining anymore though.
