  1. Wow. Thats some high speed loss! Congrats
  2. Its more likely that your poych is swollen and angry due to eating outside of recommended guidelnes early on. Hopefully thats, all it is. If they thought you had a leak I would think they would do surgery right away. Thats deadly
  3. I think I will find relief when the clothes are not disposable and I am at my goal. Im already in a size small so kiddy dept here I come!
  4. I eat taco bell.sometimes, but I.just eat 1/2 of a crunchy taco
  5. Thanks everyone! I feel a little better just getting that off,my chest. It seems silly, but those clothes symbolized comfort to me. Not knowing what size I will end up is scary, yet exciting. Goodbye old body and old clothes!
  6. Take one step at a time. Try out tuna, mashed potato and things like that first. Chew them thoroughly
  7. I have, been a little ddepressed because I found bags and bags of plus size clothes in my garage. Of course these things are huge on me. I am donating them and never going to see them again. Thee are just some gorgeous things there and momentos from places I have gone and concerts, etc . It makes me sad. I know I will make new memories but moving on from those is hard. Feels like im throwing myself away in the process.
  8. I am stalling a lot now with exercise. I think replacing fat with muscle is the problem. Its a good problem to have. We will lose more. Dont worry
  9. Hope it all turns out okay with the surgery and tests. I didnt start exercising until 4 months out. Your body will lose the, weight at its own pace no matter what you do.
  10. During your stage the foods flow right through so you feel hungry faster. True hunger you feel in your upper chest and neck. Learned this on dr oz and its true. You feel as if being strangled when you reach true hunger. Sounds to me like you are doing well. Just put in what you can each day. I have never met the requirements for water or protein, but my blood tests are excellent no deficiencies. Just do what you need to do the best you can
  11. You will lose in the first year no matter what you do right or wrong. This is what my surgeon and nut told me. However, you need to form habits that will keep you from regain in year 2. Most people gain 10 percent weight back. You still have a long way to go. Your journey is just beginning.
  12. From what I have seen and read you lose for a year to two. Depends. I am about 33 lbs from goal weight and I am 6 months post op.
  13. Very good. You look great abd its just the beginning!
  14. Its post surgical fluid build up. It will go away. Stay off the scale for a,week
  15. Take extra calcium and vit d and eat a banana
  16. Emotional basketcase here even after 5 1/2 months!
  17. I eat the yogurts. Cant stand the diet kind.
  18. Sounds like a lot of dairy. Can you eat chicken or soup or a variety?
  19. In walgreens russell stovers has packets.of iddy bitty bunnies. There are 60 lil choc rabbits to a bag and if I need something I have 1 lil bunny. You have to get them they are perfect7
  20. Using goid products helps. Dont go cheap with your hair care. Get hair cut often and use treatments and your hair will look great even if a few, strands go. I lost some hair. It came back. No worries. I have never taken.special vitamins for hair. My nut says that is a farse. We will all lose a little but it comes back.
  21. Everyone is different . Someone with 250 lbs to lose will lose faster than someone who only has 100 to lose.
  22. When foods are runny or lliquid they roll right through the pouch. Solid foods fill you way faster.
  23. According to my surgeon, as long as you have lost at least 50 lbs in 6 months you are average. Most lise more than that though! I will ne 6 months on march 25 and have lost 70
  24. Stop comparing yourself to what you think it should be. Go and pick up something that weighs the amount youve list and you will see. Your resultsvare fantastic. Everyone always says...ive only lost blah blah amount. Just remember thete are others who read these that may have only lost a lit less than you and now they feel worse because someone else is not happy with double their amount. Be thankful that this is a journey and not a race. Think.of the old tortoise and hare story.
