March 9, 201313 yr You are asking a very good question that I would like to have an answer too. I am having my surgery on Monday March 11th and really would like an answer as well. Hang in there and I hope you are doing well. I think I will keep off the scale until I have my first visit with my surgeon.

March 10, 201313 yr I had surgery on March fourth and I'm getting concerned because I haven't lost any weight either. I'm getting a little depressed about it and when I'm depressed I usually eat and I can't eat so now I don't know what to do because I can't hardly move I'm still in some pain. I still walk like I'm supposed to you and have been doing everything I'm supposed to do. Is thanks to be frustrated this early in the game. 5 days since surgery
March 10, 201313 yr I also had my surgery on March 4th. I came home weighing 11 pounds more than I did the day of surgery. This morning the sale was back to where I was the day of surgery. I'm hoping it starts going down from here.
March 10, 201313 yr So far I have not gone below my preop weight and I have also not had a bm yet. I hope these two have something in common. Glad there are others with the same surgery date. The left side of my bellybutton seems tight like its my stomach and it always feels full. I am getting concerned. Took miralax and stool softener this morning and nothing so far. Don't think it's a blockage because I have occasional gas.
March 10, 201313 yr Asked the doc, stomach has relocated to the immediate left of my belly button right where my pants waist hits! Great! So much for a small waist. Guess we'll see.
March 10, 201313 yr Had my surgery feb 22. Starting weight was 215. My current weight is 189. ( this is with my ore op loss) everyone is different. I read some lose a ton, then there's me... At a turtles pace.
March 10, 201313 yr 2 weeks out, feels like forever And it still hurts like hell to wear jeans, pushing on that new stomach.
March 10, 201313 yr One day. ..you have lost 26lbs in two weeks?! That's amazing. And great. Disappointed about the stomach thing. Surprised it was not mentioned in ANY preop stuff I did. Sorry it seems like forever, if it helps, I still have insane cravings on a full stomach. Sad. Its all in my head. 26 lbs before April sounds great! P90x can't do that!!

P90x can't do that!![/quote'] This loss is with my pre surgery low carb diet. But, while in the hospital you gain it all back, and then some due to all the fluids given. My jeans hurt bending over, or sitting. Jeans are big but can't wear my belt too tight yet. I feel very well, Water intake is good, Protein drinks go down rough so you need to get creative. And, still look forward to meals and what I'm going to try next. I do dump and get the nasty cramps, but thank god that doesn't last long
