  3. Nurses can't diagnose a stricture. I went to the hospital with mine, and forced em to scope me. I was write. Make them look....if you can't keep food or liquids down its a stricture most likely.
  4. Just follow the plan... You will lose weight. Be sure you are drinking water and getting your protein.
  5. We are gluten free... Think meat and potatoes or meat and rice. There are decent gluten free pastas out there, and ok breads. It's pricy, but it does help with increasing your ability to absorb nutrients.
  6. Usually citrus is a no no until you are off of antacids...
  7. Thanks...we can all do it if we keep out mind on the goal... One step at a time...
  8. Check into section 8 housing. Reduced cost based on income.
  9. I get to eat at my favorite buffet place for the 2 year old price for crab legs and shrimp...$2.90!! I love it! Regularly $24 a head.
  10. Some people like the ninja....
  11. Scallops rock!! They are one of my go to foods. High in protein, easy to swallow, and at $1 a piece, no more than a lean cuisine for what we can eat now...lol!
  12. Mami, I have two special needs kids...I know how tough it can be. If I can be any help, please let me know.
  13. 8 more pounds till I get there...
  14. You might want to check with your dietician...these are usually ok on the full liquids portion. (I.e. after the hospital)
  15. Make sure you are drinking your protein shakes...fatigue is often a result of no protein. Sounds like your body is trying to go into hibernation.
