  1. Yes I actually go to two support groups they are both very different that is why I go to both. They are very helpful. I was having a rough day and all of you guys were so great to support me right when I needed it. Thank you! As of this morning I am down 20lbs since surgery 08/01/12 and I am excited to keep dropping. I am feeling challenged again to do my best:-)
  2. I am craving things like chips to a snickers bar. I am not stupid enough to try the snickers bar I am scared of anything with sugar. But I did have a few of my sons Pringles. I am trying to be good I didn't go through all this work to fall off the wagon, I think that's why it's such an emotional roller coaster. I didn't think it would be so hard to break up with my food habits. I thank God he gives me strength every day:-)
  3. I am almost 4 weeks post op and starting to have cravings. I am feeling like I want to go back to the bad habits of before. It is scaring me so badly. I want to be healthier and live a better life I want to run and play with my children. I want to feel good about myself but then these cravings come and I fight such an emotional battle inside. I feel on edge at some moments and perfectly happy at others. I have no regrets in having the surgey and am very thankful I have this tool to help in my loss. Please pray for me....

  5. What was your surgery date. I am 3 weeks out today and have also lost 17 pounds. I lost 12 in the first week and feel like things have really slowed down as well. My dietician told me Yesterday thaty body is in starvation mode and holding on to as much as possible but that I am probably still losing in inches. She said over all I am Doing excellent and to keep up the good work. So I encourage you that 17 pounds is good and to keep up the good work :-)
  6. I had asked my surgeon, she said as soon as I felt comfortable to do it. Unless for some reason I didn't want to then she would tell my hubby 6 to 8 weeks lol she is to funny. We did it about 10 days post op and all was fine:-)
  7. My dietician told me to absolutely stay away from Those.....
  8. So far so good. There was only 3 grams of sugar. Watch your fat in take but occasionally is ok. it's so good:-)
  9. Mmm had anyone had peanut butter who is on or was on puréed foods, as a snack???? Very low sugar smooth and creamy satisfys that sweet cravings
  10. I got on the scale today and it read 199.6 I didn't want to get to excited yet for fear that tomorrow it will say 200z I think when I reach 195 I will celebrate lol. I so feel your pain.
  11. Oh my goodness I will be 3 weeks on Wednesday 8-1-12 and I am feeling the exact same way. I so glad you posted this I myself am anxious to see answers.

  13. I am just over 2 weeks post op and heading out on a long drive. I am on puréed foods. Any good ideas for food while I am on the road????

  15. Call everyday to see if there are cancellations. That's what I did, and I was able to get in right away pushed my surgery date up a month now I am 2 weeks post op. can't Hurt to try.
  16. I am barely 5"1 on a good day lol I have a small fram even if I never make It I will sure try I would like to Be about a size 4 to 6 that's what I praying for. I say go Big or Go home lol jk But really...I really believe if I put my eyes on Jesus he will get me There:-)
  17. My goal is 115. Pre op I was 234 per surgery I was 215. 11days later I am at 199. I am going back to school in September to get my nursing degree. And by next year this time I want to run my first 5k. I believe I can do anything through Jesus who gives me Strength.

  19. That's amazing great job. You have so much to look forward to. And I understand the taxi service I am 11 days post op and all it seems like I is a taxi service lol.
  20. The doctor thinks I am lactose intolerant. She told me to go ahead and start my pured food to get more fiber in me. Praying this helps this has been the worst 5 days of my life physically. Thank you for your prayers.
  21. Praying all goes well for you today. I am in the ER right now.
  22. I can have Greek yogurt as long as it is less then 13g of sugar.
