  5. I had a fear of losing food at first but I had to decide what I wanted more food or good health. So I choose to change the way I think . I now look at the surgery as a tool to help me retrain myself and to teach me to control the food and not to have the food control me. I am a week post surgery and am down 14 pounds. There is no hunger what so ever so there for I am Not having the cravings that I thought I would and food was my best friend. I am great full for this surgery. I wish you the best of luck with all of it.
