Wow. Great job!!!!

Some basics
Pretty much the same for me. Did stairs when I came home and same for the shower. I slept in a recliner for a while. Laying down was not good. I was pretty good alone but I did have complications so he had to take me back to the ER. Good luck.

UGH! Hope you feel better!

Depression
I cry at the drop of a hat. Plus, I am letting myself get overwhelmed by others losing more/faster then me. Logically I am OK with it but deep down it is bothering me.

First day on pureed phase - and I wanted to puke
Try about an oz of canned chicken. I had the best success with that as my first meat. Tuna is hard one day I was fine the next no go. Good luck!

Am I'm consuming too much?
Just take it slow. 8 oz over at least a half hour if not more. You have no real feeling in your pouch right now. It's good your getting your liquids in just be careful and congrats!!!!

A little worried about what issues my surgery might have on my marriage
M'Lane is right. You can get through this but it will take a lot of communication. My husband and I have had a lot of conversations about this. I know he is very sensitive (deep down) so I have to make sure I am giving him the attention and assurance that he needs. You will be fine as long as you work at it. It is when we become complacent the trouble starts in any marriage. Good luck

Winter clean out
They don't take women's sizes.... wow Anyway, it is weird. I was putting away some spring type clothes and they are the size I am in now. I am afraid to get rid of them. I keep thinking I will not lose more weight. I have a ton of business clothes too but they are dress pants and tops/jackets. The places I found wanted suits and dresses. But try Dress for Success.

It's all so weird... I looked at my nutrition guide this morning and it stated I won't be on regular foods until month 4. I think I can handle that. I am in no rush for a salad right now.

I've had red meat. Not a lot and chewed really well. I'm hoping to get released to regular foods on Wednesday. Salads still scare me.

Gaining WTF!
It's probably water. You'll be fine.

Grrr..my family is driving me crazy!
It does get better. My head hunger has started to subside. I also found if I really want it one bite seems to quell the craving.

The simple things...
Yea :-) I was so thankful I didn't have to ask hubby. Slow system. I was healed up enough by the time I went.

What They Don't Tell You About RNY!
I think how much is plays with your hormones. For a while wacko periods, some acne and my hair was really oily for a while. But I think the hardest I the mental state. I've lost about 28 pounds in six weeks and I feel like a failure. Really? I've never lost weight like that before. You can't compare yourself to others. If you do you'll go nuts. Main thing is this is life changing. That part you really can't prepare for. Just take it day by day. Good luck

Oh thanks!! It depends on what it is too. If it is soup the consistency of a shake I can do a cup but veggie or chili way less.

How much can you eat? I think I'm a freak or in trouble. I'm six weeks out and can eat a half a cup of food probably more but i stop myself and measure. Is this normal?

My journey so far.....
Hi and welcome! Don't be afraid of food. Just take it very slow. Drink, eat and CHEW slow. I try new things at home and only take a small bit or two and see how it sits. Then later a few more. I usually know when things are not going to work. Good luck!!!
