  1. Wow. It's amazing how much our lives have changed in three months. Just imagine where we all will be in the next three. And just think, that's right before summer. We will be able to get cute summer clothes! And all the great activities. :-). Go Go Go!!
  2. Starting weight 275 DOS 11/19/12. 262 Today 216.6 About 2.5 pounds this week. I will take it!
  3. Hi Steph. We had surgery the same day and I have not expereinced this. You may want to call your PCP as well. Hope it gets better.
  4. Well nope. I have a cup every morning. It's my one vice. :-)
  5. I had surgery on 11/19. I was doing pretty well. I had never had surgery before so I had no idea what to really expect. I made it ok. Sent me home on the 21st. By the 22nd I was really sick. I could keep NOTHING down. Went to the ER and found out I had a staple close off and twist my intestine. Back into surgery but I have been fine since. What I had happen was very rare! Three four weeks out I got pretty nauseated and lived on water crackers and yogurt. But that soon passed. Yes, there were times I hated my decision and I was scared but I would do it again. I'm at three months today and I am finally starting to feel normal again. It is a BIG lifestyle change and should not be done lightly. It was my last resort. Time will tell. GOOD LUCK to you!
  6. Raquel, You sound like me. It was freakin AWFUL! I tried everything (same as you) and nothing would help it. I almost went to the ER but I was afraid of what happened to you, sitting there and nothing. It did start to subside about a day after it started. I was scared too! Let me know how you are and I hope it goes away fast!!!
  7. It really depends and no, not everyone dumps. Libra_Lisa, I also have a steel stomach. lol I can't do rice either. It makes me feel losey. I can eat fruit and dairy with no problems but not premade shakes. Again, losey. I have only got the dumping sensation once, actually Sunday night. For dinner I pushed it, I mixed some Honey Bunches of Oats into my greek yogurt for something different. I got sick but no barfing. Thank God!! I learned a good lesson that I needed!
  8. I CAN NOT BELIEVE it is three months for me today!! I am down 44 since surgery. I was hoping to be at 50 but I am still happy with the results. I am in a XL/L top and around a 16 in pants. I was a 22/24 and a 1X/2X when I started this process. I have a long way to go but I am starting to feel "normal" again. My next goal weight is 197. That is what I was when I got married 17 years ago. I have only been less then that for about a year back in 2004.
  9. I wear the spandex from walmart and target. I think walmart is Danskin and Target is Champion. If you get it a little on the snug side it helps and is a lot cheaper then actual shape/compression wear. I also wear undies with some compression in them for my stomach. Good luck
  10. You are doing really well. I was 262 DOS on 11/19. I am three months today and I weigh 218. I am losing about 2 - 2.5 pounds per week. My doc said I am about average. Kisersassy, You better not be done losing. We are at the same weigh. You'll start again. I have faith!!!
  11. I am sooo happy for you both! You will be FINE! HUGS!!
  12. Also, salt, PMS anything can cause a 3 pound gain. I am three months out and have had two 2-3 pound gains. They go away pretty quick. And Shasta is right, don't stress. You will be fine. :-)
  13. WOW Congrats!! You look great!
  14. Deb, It's ok. We all have done it. I got way to cocky this yesterday and added too much cereal to my yogurt. I add a little for crunch. Well, I paid for it. Lesson learned here as well!!!
  15. Whoo hoo. You look wonderful. I'm so happy for you!!
  16. There's a few people on here that use optimum. They should be fine
  17. I'm doing arm weights but it's not helping my wings much. I'm firming up a little. My arms are really heavy so I'm kinda screwed. :-(
  18. I still get them but at least they don't hurt anymore! :-). Hang in there
  19. Hey, it's ok. We have all been there. It's really hard early on. At your stage I lived on Dannon light vanilla Greek yogurt, nectar choc truffle protein shake and Kraft singles. I still don't like applesauce. Water is the most important then protein. Shakes are the easiest early on. I can't do pre made (made me sick) but some powders are ok. Hang in there. It does get better!
  20. Steph. Congrats. That's an amazing loss! I've picked up the exercise lately. I just hope I can keep it up. I'm 219 right now and hope to be 200 by the end of March. That's pretty aggressive for me but I hope to at least get close.
  21. I'm can eat a little pasta but white rice is not my Friend. I'm about 3 months out.
  22. Wow congrats!!! I'm so happy for you! I know I won't hit mine either in three months but it motivates me.
