  1. Wow. You look soooo amazing! I hope to be there one day. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
  2. Yes you can. Apple juice should be diluted and don't drink a lot. Most people drink the diet V8 splash.
  3. I do poached and use an egg poacher. They are soft and seem pretty easy to digest. No issues with them.
  4. Thanks all! I got some sleep and I am doing better today. Living on yogurt and water crackers. They think it affect me differently because of the surgery. I seem to be the weirdo with the intestinal issues. It just scares me since I had a complication with an intestinal stricture (staple caught the other side and twisted.) If it didn't ease up today I had to go in for an x-ray.
  5. Oh Honey, I don't know what is wrong but HUGS and pray it gets better for you soon!
  6. CONGRATS! and you will be fine! It is scary, I know but you will have a better life with them. I found the more I researched the better I was so I knew just what to expect. We are all here for you so ask away and let us know when you need support!
  7. SW 275 DOS 262 11/19/2012 Today 219 Lost three pounds but I have been sick for a few days so I am sure it will bounce up. NBD :-)
  8. Well I called. They think it's a bug. Ugh
  9. Thanks. It's better this morning but still not good. Only got three hours of sleep.
  10. Wow. Congrats!!!! You can really see it
  11. Abdominal gas pains. I've always hiccuped and had some burping post op.
  12. Mine was the back fat roll. It is still there but soooo much smaller. Now if my arms would catch up.
  13. Ugh the pains are worse then the hospital. I still have them. I'm miserable.
  14. I think you had a good substitute. I wanted a cookie a few weeks ago. So, I thought I am going to see if I dump and I should have on what I ate. Nope sigh.... Just got kinda weak the next day. No brain retraining. I just have to have pure will power. So, I will have a nibble and that seems to satisfy me (rarely). I just can't have them around even sugar free. I know I will snack on them.
  15. Yep on both counts. I was up two pounds and it finally dropped today. It had to be water. I have been actually hungry for about 3 weeks. Some days are worse then others. :-( I was hoping I would be farther out before I actually got hungry.
  16. Hey Guys, I know TMI... but I have been getting horrible gas pains right after I eat. Almost instantaneous. I am about three months out and this just started. Shakes are ok but I just had chicken and it was almost immediate. I'm chewing well so I don't think that is it. Gas X really doesn't help it. It is so weird. Anyone else? Or is i just me??
  17. I had a three month requirement and had to do it all. They did squeeze my last appointment in early and I was still approved. Good luck
  18. Awe that's sweet of him!! Congrats!
  19. Yep!!! I had/have Aetna POS and they require three months if you follow the multi-phase plan (monthly weigh ins, nutritionist, counseling, etc.). My surgeon kept telling me six until they called and Aetna verified it was only three. One thing I will tell you is they sat on my application for two weeks and no one touched it until I called the headquarters (only number I could find) and got to speak to a person in preauth. Once that happened they approved in less than 24 hours. I started the process in July and had surgery on 11/19.
  20. Yes... My was not eating enough and/or close enough to the time I was exercising. Some have to drink protein shakes before and/or after. I'd call your Dr. just to be sure. It could be a vitamin issue or blood pressure.
  21. It's my vice. I have a cup of coffee in the morning. I add extra water and if I have it, I found I can hit the treadmill in the morning and I need all the help I can get with exercise. I don't drink anything else caffeinated.
