  1. The sf coffee syrupsare sold at Amy local grocery store. As far as Protein shakes, the Jay Robb brand is very good, not gritty and comes in many flavors. [ATTACH]693[/ATTACH]
  2. I am still too new to this (surgery was on 7/24/12) but have u tried to Google sf cakes? I would imagine there is a recipe on the internet somewhere since people with diabetes have to limit their sugar as well. My bday is on Aug 8, so happy early bday! I will search some today and see what I come up with. I will let u know:)
  3. Congrats on loosing the pre op weight! Your recipe sounds great, though I have never tried almond milk.

  5. In regards to taking the acid reducing meds, my doc said I only will have to take them for a few weeks, so no it shouldn't be for life:)

  7. Thank u all for the great advice! I am 8 days post op and finally starting to feel better. Still on clear liquids but it doesn't seem to bother me. My mid back hurts like crazy. Hope that isn't a permanent thing. Otherwise doing pretty good. Walking every day and down 10 lbs! Thanks again:)
  8. I got nausea so bad with chantix that I couldn't get out of bed sometimes once I took it.
  9. Thank you all for such great advice. I appreciate it and will use it all! Less than 24 hours away. Starting to get nervous, but excited at the same time. I will let you know how it goes.
  10. Thanks all for the tips. I would have never thought of gas pain. Keep the tips coming, only a day and a half to go!
  11. Sounds like labor (childbirth) walk walk. I can handle that:) I hate throwing up. Is it avoidable?
  12. I am not sure about rny but my dad had surgery and had to fly 2 weeks after and they gave him compression tights to wear to prevent blood clots. U might want to ask your surgeon.

  14. Let me rephrase, I know what I have read from the surgeon, but I would like to hear it from someone who has gone through it.
  15. I am having surgery on Tuesday and am not really sure what to expect both in the hospital and the first week at home....
